I was in my car at a stop light when I heard the news. It saddened me to the core. It's hard to believe we'll have to live without her. I feel for Judi Dench, her dearest friend. When she passes, we will have lost the two greatest actors of their generation. They acted in a time when groundbreaking movies were being made and roles were complex, deep and memorable. I'll never forget her role in Downton Abbey. Superb timing, fabulous humor. And when she died in the series, she told everyone in her bedroom to be quiet because she couldn't hear herself die.
