That was a strange place to see a squirrel, but how lovely. The wheatear was the icing on the cake - where I live they seem few and far between this year, I don't know why. We do get lots of buzzards though - definitely 'common'!

Yeah it really confused me, but looking back I figure that the dense rocks and boulders may provide some nice protection from the elements... Hoping it doesn't flood of course 😣

That's a cracking pic of the Buzzard! I also never have any success with these (in Norfolk) probably because they are so sh*t scared of us humans here! I've never even come remotely close to getting a shot of one that good! 😊

Cheers mate! It's a shame nothing else really decided to come close that day 🤣

Your video footage and photos always look so beautifully lit and sharp, the buzzards especially so.

Some days it just doesn't happen and others you can fill your card. I know Buzzards are quite common but they are so hard to get a good shot of, that perched shot is as good as I've seen (most like it are usually taken from a baited hide), great stuff as always.

Thank you for the comment 🙂 it's really refreshing to know that people understand the process and accept the fact that not every day is going to be a winner. Thank you!

A great video Damian, good picture quality and some really nice shots of the Buzzard and Wheatear, I like your approach to your photography in that you’re just happy being out in nature if you don’t get nonstop action, the great outdoors is a great place to be whatever, the rest is all a bonus, look forward to your next trip out 👍👏📷🦅

Thank you Terry! Lovely to know people understand my content, that's exactly it. Can't be all nonstop action so may as well learn to appreciate your surroundings regardless. 😀 Cheers!

@@damianjohnwildlife a lot years spent Carp fishing with many many blank sessions for days on end teaches you to learn to just love the surroundings you’re in, plus being a wildlife photographer myself it comes with the territory, it’s a pleasure watching you out looking to nail those great shots 👍
