I Ordered Pizza on My Childhood Wii

I modded my own childhood wii to make it run the Food Channel! And show you how to to order Domino's pizza in 3 easy steps. :) Step 1, mod the wii. Step 2, install the Demae wii shop food channel, and Step 3, order the pizza. This was a really cool wii homebrew experiment and it's so great to see Wiilink24 working on picking up the slack where nintendo keeps abandoning projects.

I used to work at Domino's when they introduced the sandwiches, and they're basically just sourdough + pizza toppings. The reason nobody wants to order them is that the pizza is better.

I'm no tech genius so take this with a grain of salt. My guess is that it submits the order similar to ordering on their website or a delivery app like Doordash. Prices do change between a delivery service connecting with a restaurant (Doordash, UberEats, Slice, Postmates, etc.) and ordering from the restaurant directly. Not sure if it has to do with app maintenence, especially when this service is discontinued. But I'd be curious for the real answer too. Even if my guesses are wrong. :)

Homebrew is not illegal, it’s only the downloading game ROM’s part that is but it’s not really that bad because Nintendo abandoned all of those old Wii games a long time ago. You clearly have never modded a console and experienced the joy of what it is capable of. You can do it the legal way by just buying all of your game discs second hand but NONE of that money is going to Nintendo anyways and they clearly don’t sell or support Wii games anymore so you can see the problem with preserving old games and copyright laws. Also, Jailbreaking is a term most commonly used for iPhones and iOS devices, NOT game consoles. It’s can be correct but it should be referred to as Modding, Hacking or Homebrewing.

the WII was also the first console that was scarce at launch. It was well over a year before I finally found one... USED at gamestop and missing the top door that covered the controller ports. Now, that console scarcity is normal. You STILL can not find a ps5 in stock in a store. I only JUST started seeing XboxSeriesX in stock in stores a couple months ago.

I did this about 6 months ago and it was one of the coolest (and expensive) things ever. Luckily there's a mod for minecraft that allows you to run a virtual machine so I'm gonna try that next. Also yes please do an everything guide for the wii or wii u. The wii u might be more interesting because it has all the wii u homebrew and the wii homebrew.
