@@cononodapotato6920 that is after all, why the switch cartridges are coated in that bitter stuff instead of the honey and brown sugar coating standard to earlier wii models. Of course they tried no coating with the wii mini models but the smaller form factor made them even more appealing for an afternoon snack so they went with bitter coating for the switch

@GamebroTV You must be new to the gaming community, but in case you didn't know, every console in videogame history from Atari to Genesis to NES to 360 to PS2 to Wii all had one thing in common: SHOVELWARE. That doesn't stop the fact that there were countless astonishingly amazing games on the Wii, channels of endless entertainment like Netflix & KZbin, and with the Nintendo Digital Library: access to more games on one system than ever before. Yeah, you would occasionally run into a lowbrow game on the Wii, but most of my games on the PS1 were incredibly buggy. The Wii looked crystal clear in comparison. 360 may have looked better, but goddamn did it's selection pale in comparison to the Wii (at least for me).

One of my favorite things about the Wii was when you turned it on by the console. When you connected a remote it autohit a on the health and safety so you got visual and auditory feedback to connecting. I don't know why but it was cool. Not as cool as the 360 ring though
