Yeah I get where he’s coming from, I think it’s still a good chance for people to get success through their platforms though. Adam Lambert was on American Idol and he did an absolute fantastic job to get to where he was. Same as Harry Styles with X factor. The shows themselves are the consumerism, but the music that comes out of it isn’t made by a robot, there was a producer that has emotion and understood what they were doing and got to express their music through that platform.

@@arol1644 in every production there will always be a bad side to things, that doesn't mean as a whole it is a terrible opportunity. I agree 1D was treated bad. There was a lot of good that also came from it and some bad. I'm not undermining the bad, I am saying the good was good for them to have to opportunity to express themselves after the fact and that just because it was a production company shouldn't take away from the fact that as individuals they are creative, and that if they didn't get the opportunity to show their talents through the show they might not have got as successful as they are today.
