Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item kzbin.infoUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

Nice! I'll be 60 in about a week and I'm starting to do more weight exercises rather than just cardio. Bought myself a Titan assisted pull up machine, leg press and hack squat machine, just ordered a Titan Adductor/Abductor machine and this is next😄. Got an empty nest now so Momma can actually spend $$$ on herself!!😄 Thanks again!

Finally someone who explains how to use it. It can be a bit odd at first because I'm 5'6. Its like Climbing on a freaking bull. I can aim for 50 reps. How many times a week and how many set for beginners can you suggest? Is it 1 set of 50 reps. Overall my hat off to you bud you broke it down to a science.

Thanks for the transparency in regards to not allowing the barn to be perfect to workout in, drop a video etc. So easy to let that little shit to cause us to hesitate etc. I’m sure to some degree happens to you as well, but you act in spite of it. The fact you do will empower so many others to realize it’s not pretty it’s work and here’s what the real work looks like. Utilize the space you have, the equipment you have, and just do the work! 💪

GREAT video! Got my reverse hyper in June after spine surgery (C5-C6) last January. I want to avoid lower back issues, which is very common in law enforcement because of all the gear we wear. Never thought of using the reverse hyper for these other exercises before, but I will now! Thank you!

Great to hear! Remember to start with lighter weights and progress slowly. The reverse hyper is a godsend for those looking to strengthen the posterior chain without spinal compression.

It’s nice to see someone actually explaining the importance of joint preservation through utilizing momentum instead of the dead stop or start. Only you know when you’re cheating and your results will depend upon the amount you lift, push or pull throughout the movement. I’ve actually seen someone do donkey kicks by crawling underneath the bench so I’m looking forward to getting mine. I am concerned about the cold temps though as that can lead to injury. Sub’d

Dan I know you said you used leg extensions to rehab your quad, but leg extensions are the best way to destroy your knees due to the sheering forces caused by the open chain movement.
@OriginalDanBailey4 жыл бұрын
Stuntman Mike I completely disagree. That hasn’t been my experience on the reverse hyper at all. Mainly because you are not taking the weight from a dead stop to extension. The momentum of the pendulum completely changes the movement from a normal leg extension. Like I mention in the video, these are not 1rm movements, I use them at light loads for medium to high deletion and have experienced nothing but benefit from it in my injured quad and healthy knee.
@stuntmanmike53644 жыл бұрын
@@OriginalDanBailey thanks for the reply. I suppose with a leg extension machine, you have to break the inertia of the weight stack every rep and perhaps that is what makes the reverse hyper version superior.

Any concerns with developing leg imbalances that can lead to patella femoral syndrome? Most doctors I have talked to strongly recommend against open chain leg exercises for that reason. However, they were referring to strict leg extension/curl machines, and I’m not sure where this device falls on that spectrum.
