These companies listening to riders and creating signature custom bikes are revolutionizing the sport of Bmx. The more comfortable these riders feel on these bikes, the better they ride and continue to evolve! Its absolutely genius really!

Really glad to finally see somebody give a why as to why they're running some of their parts, when I see a rider with signature parts that doesn't even know what they are it just comes across as so cocky like I ride this because they're free don't really know what they are I don't know maybe that's just me, but nice video.

Yeah, it makes me really want a wethepeople network. And I'm expecting a Wethepeople Battleship to arrive at my house in the next few days. I just ordered the one with a matte gloss frame and red n blue wheel. It's completely decked out in Eclat Parts! One of the best aftermarket builds on the market!

@@midknight5194 I messaged Dan on Facebook to ask how tall he is so I could figure out what size bike I should be riding. He actually replied. He's about the same height as me he said (5'10.5") and rides a 20.8 So yeah, if they said their height and frame size, it would help a lot. But Dan's bike check is still far more detailed than most. I want to build a wethepeople network identical to his. And it's probably due to his detailed bike check.

This is actually a really good bike check. I like how Dan actually knows what he is talking about, seems strangely rare for pro bike riders to have a clue about their bikes.

thinner tires FTW!!!!! I wouldn't be suprised if kids go back to 2.10 again.I personally like 2.10 to 2.20 feels stable still at speed,no sluggish,no hang ups on grinds.

@@dankruk Any chance of an updated bike check Dan? I'm interested to know if you're still running the short cranks and smaller tyres, and also whether your forks are the 15mm or 24mm offset version. Keen to know your height too, in order to put the TT length into perspective. Cheers.

@@soots-stayingoutofthespotl5495 sup dude yeah I’m running 160mm Merritt cranks, 2.25 Merritt foster tires, 15mm battleship fork, 20.8 tt, I’m like 5ft10in. 20.8 honestly probably too small for a regular person my height but I love how good it spins and just reacts to my style of riding

almost every bike check misses how much does it weigh????
@AMM19985 жыл бұрын
Yea because nobody weighs their bike except for some park rats. You can buy all of these parts just go research for 10 minutes if you really want to know
@Gornflyin5 жыл бұрын
@@AMM1998 gee soo friendly and helpful. Loads of ppl weigh their bikes ,its a performance aspect of the bike. They are promoting their brands by doing a bike check, why is it up to me to research each part when they can just put it on a scale. Takes them 10 seconds. Frankly your coming across as a bit of a dick
@AMM19985 жыл бұрын
@@Gornflyin once again, they don't tell you how much their bike weighs because nobody cares. This is bmx man not road biking.
@Gornflyin5 жыл бұрын
@@AMM1998 you might not care, but other ppl do. If that wasn't the case, then ppl wouldn't be dropping near 2k on a set of alienation/profile.ti spoked wheels now would they. Scotty Cranmer, Ryan Wilson and BK from Scotty's crew, all have done bike checks, and weighed everything. So again, if no'one cares, then why do all the frame and parts manufacturers list weights? Stop trying so hard to seem cool, its not working. Like not wearing pads or a helmet cos that's not cool lol. It may not be cool, but it IS smart. Anyway, Im done with you. Have a nice day :)

Our BMX i was gonna say this as well, no need for chain tensioners imo
@johnreder81675 жыл бұрын
believe me..Aside from it being practically useless coz your chain WILL snap (I snapped my shadow supreme chain twice because of it} you have to unscrew it when u get a flat, u have to level it out and it will still get loose over time. Which doesnt really make sense to me but it does happen.. Chain tensioner is and amazing feature to have on your bike but bmx technology isnt ready for that. I have literally best bmx chain in bmx. And it snapped twice coz of it.. Just think it over my g
@johnreder81675 жыл бұрын
@@OurBMX Well it is a stupid reason for not wanting that frame but..I have $1600 built and there definitely is a need for chain tensioner...Having loose chain is part of bmx. Tensioner is an amazing feature but it has its very bad qualities as well. If you have nice steady chain and then send 3 down the 5 foot tall stair set., guess what happens to your chain :) but its just annoying and makes annoying sound when its hitting ur chain stay. it aint that serious
