Let's not forget. The entire NFL media-sphere was gaga on Bryce Young. The whole SEC aura was on Bryce's head. And lowly Ohio State Stroud couldn't get a break. Now, in hindsight, the NFL media commentators are acting like they weren't stoking the hype.

I think Frank should look in the mirror once in a while. The man is trying to pass blame onto his team owner. YOU are the head coach, name a team where the owner is sitting in weekly meetings with the coaches coming up with a gameplan for the week, what owner is coming down to the locker room and making adjustments at halftime? Did we all forget this man handpicked Wentz to bring him into Indy as the starter? Where is this "good resume" he has as a head coach?

If you had to choose a QB to draft first this year, CJ Stroud was the clear pick for translatable talent. However, none of the QB in this draft class were worth trading up for. And none were even close to being worth a valuation of 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and DJ Moore (especially since the first picks look like #9 and a lottery right now). Tepper is going to run the panthers into the ground and the fanbase will turn on him. He'll turn the blame on us and move the team to St Louis and in the process probably call us ungrateful as a fanbase either directly or indirectly. From what I understand his wife is also allowed to weigh in on franchise decisions, she was allegedly at each dinner and provided feedback as well

Not quite sure how he's clowning an NFL job away when the man is in game five of his first season with a roster that needs A LOT of work and has won 22 games in four years. @@Chalk89 A man five games into his coaching career should not be implying that his starting QB is someone he doesn't want lmao. Excuses for why your stint as coach failed come AFTER you're fired or in private to an owner. No reason to do it 5 games into the season, publicly. He shouldn't care about public perception about him as a coach, and let's face it, he will never have another HC job if he doesn't make this work regardless, so the excuses are worthless.

The only meddling Irsay did with Frank Reich was in his last year, and it was something a majority of the fan-base supported because they wanted Reich fired anyways. (Before that, Reich got Wenzt, exactly as he asked, didn't work out) Irsay can be a kook, but Andrew Luck's departure was literally the result of Irsay giving his GM too long of a leash. He's not a meddling owner generally, he's just extremely outspoken and passionate about the team, Not telling ppl who to draft.

Drew Brees was 3 inches taller than Bryce Young. Tua is like 4 inches taller than Young. Brees and Tua are BOTH heftier than Young. NO ONE is “small” like Bruce Young, who is more 5’9 than even 5’10, and not only is Young small, he’s also slow and weak. Terrible combination.

The Texans were also a chaotic franchise until recently. Cal McNair was a passive owner who gave too much authority to people like Bob O'Brien (head coach and general manager???) and Jack Easterby (chaplain and who knows what else he did). Who is credited around Houston for turning it around? Cal's wife Hannah McNair who stepped in and stopped the Josh McCown as head coach hire. And approved the hiring of DeMeco Ryans as head coach. Since they trust DeMeco and see good results, they have been very supportive of the team.

Living in the south I saw Bryce play a lot of games at Bama and yes he looked extremely smooth and poised...but as a guy who played H.S. QB at what my eyes tell me are Bryce's true playing measurables of 5'9" 178 lbs, i can't imagine how big of a challenge it is playing QB in the NFL with those physical limitations. The NFL ain't Bama....by comparison, Tua is 6'1" 215 lbs. I would have scratched Bryce off my Day 1 and Day 2 draft boards

This is entirely on Frank Reich. During the interview process if he couldn't see what a control freak the owner was then he wasn't doing his job of selecting the right job. All he can now is wait to get fired. Looks like the only difference between Tepper and Dan Snyder is Tepper has more money.

I wanna feel for Reich but at the same time I feel like you should’ve hammered out the pick plans and the expectations of how the process will operate before taking the job. The owner wanting to be or having already been heavily involved in the process to where you can’t truly do your job as you see fit isn’t something that is a sudden surprise once you’re in the job. You’d have thought he’d have taken some time and been careful in choosing his second opportunity but he leaped to Carolina right away for whatever reason and the whole thing just seems bad so far. I get you can’t count on landing another HC position so you probably take the opportunity you have but dude was out of a job less than three months before taking a new one. You’d think you’d take some time away and make sure you make a good choice to avoid this happening. I think how things went for Doug Pederson was about as good as you could hope happening.

He is ass. He's too small. Arms too weak. Has zero pocket awareness and athleticism to make up for it. Bryce needs elite talent to look any better than he does. Doubt he lasts long enough for Panthers to actually get all that together. All they have is money. No real capital without breaking up the defense to build the offense. The defense is the only reason they haven't been blown out with Bryces inability to score points.
