@_Schwartz not every org does that type of hire. Most go either safe bet or no name for the hire. The hawks made the huge trade for Holmgren back in the day, and it worked out. They went safe with Mora and failed. Given that Pete was a swing for the fences hire, and a lot of the same decision makers are in place from that key Pete hire moment. It's impossible to see Jody not try to make a move her brother would have in this situation.

To the people that want Dave Canales or Bobby Slowik... why? What have these guys done that they can take ownership of outside of one year? You can sum up Canales and Slowik with : they did pretty good this one year. Slowik couldn't do anything with Jimmy G or Trey Lance.
