I know. I used to watch those shows with my kids. It’s kind of like the Brady Bunch. Such a wholesome show, only to find out what was happening behind the scenes was anything but wholesome. Drug use, and alcohol consumption on the set by the kids, with the adults partying with them.

At this point it's "whatever". It's like half the people that created my favorite shows are creeps. Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, James Franco, Joss Whedon(Buffy, Angel), you name it. Great creators, too bad they have problems like that and we won't see their new works they could've done. Man, this is the first video in long form I've watched of yours. I really like this style better than the shorts. To be entirely honest, the shorts feel kind of "tabloidish." This video has real substance, and hearing your thought process gives WAY less of a "Miranda Cosgrove was cancelled for doing..." (just a fabricated example) style of videos. This is almost like a true crime video, and I'm all for that shit!

Nobody thought about it that way back then. You had to be in the business to know first hand that Dan Schneider was doing creepy things. Nickelodeon was a big part of my childhood in the 90s and it never occurred to me or my parents that weird things were going on behind the scenes. Times were different.

Grew up as a Nicktoons kid, usually hated any live action sitcoms but I LOVED All That. Great humor, music, and just a fun time. Loved seeing Kenan on SNL, just made sense. I was well grown when iCarly started and never watched it but holy crap man. Just ooogy, wtf man, nobody during production saw issues with any of this?

Dont forget that he also hired Brian Peck as a producer and friend as well. Brian Peck had a brief stint in acting in all 3 Return Of The Living Dead movies however in 2004 he pleaded 'no contest' to charges of committing a lewd act against a child 14 or 15 and oral copulation of a person under 16. Thank god I wasn’t a fan of Icarly or victorious. I was too old for Nickelodeon when those 2 shows aired. Zoey 101 was a part of my era but I never liked it mainly cause I wasn’t a fan of Jamie Lynn and thought the overall show was a bit boring.
