I didn't realize he'd passed. I was a kid during Seals & Crofts days, and I saw him in concert around the time of "Bop." Great song, in the tradition of Merle Haggard's "Holding Things Together." I didn't recall the song, until I saw a wonderful cover by John Paul White.

I'm 20 years old, so I was only six or seven when Dan Seals died, and thus, I didn't really get to hear him during his hayday. But, as I've gotten older, and started to become an enthusiast of old country music, I have grown to be a huge fan of Dan Seals. Great voice, and songs that really get in your feelings. I’m right beside you brother, the resurrection is the hope the we all focus on. And I would love to meet Dan when he walks this world again when it is a paradise. I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert in Minot North Dakota years ago, was then and is still today my favourite performer. Love his voice and his talent.

I had no idea that Dan had passed away in 2009. My heart just sank when I read the first comment that Heavens got a helluva band. His voice his style was one of a kind and for him I will put a few of his songs on because he was a performer I greatly appreciated for his kindness and his amazing talent. I sang one of his songs at the Bluebird in Nashville in 1992 then one of my own ...when I stepped down from the stage a large bearded man stood and shook my hand, it was Dan Seals.

My mind wonders back into the 80s when I heard this on the radio and I was in tears, I looked over at my dad, hoping he hadn't noticed me crying, but he had big huge tears in his eyes too. ❤ I miss my sweet Dad. Died same year as Dan. He sure was a favorite at our house.

One of my favorite songs. Did not realize that he had passed away. I had the pleasure of meeting Dan in 1988. He was in town doing a benefit concert for Special Olympics. I was part of the stage crew and I talked to him a couple times that day. He was one of the nicest guys I ever met. Rest In Peace, Dan.

I could listen to this a 1000 times and would still get the same chills that I got the first time I heard it. I had the chance to see Dan 3 years and anything hid did was moving. Being able to sing is one thing but he could emotionaly sell his product also. A legend is an understatement. RIP
