I Disagree, as good as he is, Anderson Silva is the all time goat of ufc, no one did it like he did with his fluidness and unpredictability, like the prime PED vitor fight where he upkicks him for the knockout, or the weaving and masterclass performance vs damien miea, or his stepback ducking punches into straight jab to knock out forest griffin etc, Silva in my eyes is the goat for 185 that is, jon is obv the 205 goat, but overall goat is anderson silva

Jon Jones is the epitome of controlled savagery. Watching him in that fight against Stipe, you could see every move was calculated, every strike designed to break his opponent piece by piece. He doesn’t just fight-he dismantles. From the opening bell, Jones set a relentless pace, mixing feints, elbows, and devastating low kicks that chipped away at Stipe’s defenses. Every exchange was a reminder that Jones is not just a fighter-he’s a predator in the octagon. And then came the moment. That spinning back kick wasn’t just a strike-it was a weapon. The precision, the timing, the raw force behind it-it’s the kind of shot that takes your breath away, literally and figuratively. Stipe crumpled under the sheer impact, and in that moment, you’re reminded why Jon Jones is considered the greatest to ever do it. He didn’t just beat Stipe; he took his spirit with a single, brutal kick. Jones isn’t just fighting his opponents-he’s breaking their will. It’s this exact savagery that makes him unstoppable and leaves guys like Aspinall sitting ringside, dreaming they can figure him out. Good luck. Jon Jones doesn’t just fight-he dominates in ways most fighters can’t even comprehend.

Both have passed their prime, a 38 and 42 are not that different in my opinion. Both are fighters at their last straw, but is Jon was 32 and Stipe was 37 then I would have a problem because Jon would be in his prime. @@danielson6685 Being semi retired almost at the time. He was past his prime when he did bellator amd at the end of his career. Fedor had his wars when he was younger. A young fedor wouldve dropped either miocic or jones, rest assured.

Looks like Jon Jones has been the last American LHW and will be the last HW champion for a while. All good fighters in both divisions are non Americans.

Beating Stipe at the age of 42 and inactive for 4 years don't make him no GOAT.. What's next? He gonna fight Tyson in MMA and prove he's a GOAT?? I'm a big fan fo Stipe, but I believe he just showed up for the money.. He was slow, didn't move forward really, didn't show any signs or intentions of wanting to beat Jones and become the "Champion".. Absolutely no fire in him... Glad he got a big payday... I don't really know if Tom would've beat Jones had he fought him instead of Stipe, but defenitely he'd have given Jones his run for his money and wouldn't have gone down like this... All said and done, Stipe at his best and peak would've eaten Jones up, for sure... Only his regular eye pokes and dirty fighting would've saved Jones...
