I’m really tired of every good fighter to come along people start saying “oh they’re the GOAT”. That title is thrown around way too much these days. Without a doubt, GSP is the GOAT, no question about it. The monsters he ran through and the only two losses on his record he avenged. Legend.

100% agree mate, stipes old news, not fought in about 3 and a 1/2 years, by the time they fight if it ever happens he wont have fought in 5 years and his last fight was a brutal KO loss to francis. Toms the number 1 heavyweight right now even above jones, hes tested and proven it time and time again, id even say sergi would be a tough test for jon.

Jon jones hasn’t needed any win for many years to cement his legacy. Aspinall hasn’t done shit in the sport. Neither has pavlovich. And they fought for a fake belt. Big difference between Connor and Silva’s fighting skills. Connor fought at 145 when he shouldn’t have. He took advantage and built himself. Hes a 155 that can’t hang at 170. Silva was MW champ that when he got bored defending his title he would fight at 205 for fun. He literally fought at 205 if he didn’t think his MW opponent was worth fighting.

@@tylerwardle2475That's a ridiculous comment and you know it. Only people who have nothing else to say throw that same comment out. Prior to Jon Jones 3 year hiatus he was a very active fighter at a very high level talking about 15 straight title fight wins. Broke records. Something Francis will never do. But anyways John took off for 3 years he talks about in some interviews he was focusing on his health as well as his mental health as well as bulking up the right way and as well as just taking time off from fighting in general. Jon Jones is clear about that in his own words. You act like Francis ngannou is some man that's going to make every other man run away in fear like he's God or something. Francis may have that effect on you but on someone like Jon Jones who's been fighting in the UFC for all these years breaking these records doing what he's done when it comes down to a fight in the octagon.... well Jon Jones will fight whoever the UFC signs him to fight. Also it's out there for all to see that there was problems with the money and the contracts in general with Francis and the UFC and now Francis ultimately left and is now a boxer while Jon Jones is the UFC heavyweight champion

The main question you should have asked Dana why Jones is not stripped of his belt after putting the heavyweight division on hold due to his fake or non-fake injury after heavyweight belt was handed to him after 1 easy win. Belt should be stripped and Aspinall should get the title shot immediately. But ufc for certain reason doesn't want ufc roster to be only all white champs.

Jones will be 37 by the time the Stipe fight happens. By the time an aspinal fight will come around he'll be close to, if not 38. There's nothing wrong with Jones wanting to leave on top if he doesn't have gas in the tank. Steroid allegations aside, how can anyone poke holes in his resume? Not only that, but the Aspinal fight makes more sense than Stipe. Dana wants to make his money, then burn the fighters on his way out. 'Courtesy' isn't a thing in the fight game.
