I'm with Dana on this one. I've seen him countless times be concerned about fighters after taking an ass whoopin.. He's full of bs alot of times but on this one not so much. However I have noticed over the years people are right when they say whenever dana doesn't have an answer to a question hell say he can't hear or didn't understand the question but he always hears and understands when someone's saying good stuff about him or the company but when he's asked anything that might shed a negative light he all the sudden can't hear...

Dan Hardy was a great fighter and an even better commentator. But yeah, he did fuck up a couple of times with the Herb Dean incident and was given a heavy warning. What he did to that woman backstage, we'll never know cos Dan never even talked about it. And after this, I think the UFC bridge is burned for good. Damn shame.

He questioned why, and UFC let him go. It was a month before, but they only released it to the press on March 8th for Womens day.

Dan hardy yelled Stop the fight during a herb dean fight Herb delayed literally really bad late stoppage luckily the aggressor didn’t hit as much as some other fighters would. Later Dana would go on to say if that happens again your fired (direct and to all a message to not get involved in officials or same day fired) Dan hardly 100% didn’t like that and for whatever reasons behind the scenes Dana got Hardy fired. If you believe the perfect narrative of this story Dana is using to justify the sacking more fool you.. we all know Dana is a man child and a little power mad he wanted an excuse to fire and look untouchable. FYI when the UFC fighter hit his opponent after the final bell he was fired and told he doesn’t stand for that and will never fight in the UFC again. Fast forward 5 or so years Khabib attacks mcgregor after final bell still allowed to fight? Dana also condemned fighting fighters outside of the octogan but masvifal swings for Edward’s? Connor smashes a bus both still fight in the UFC (Don’t get me wrong I know I’m slating Dana because I actually really like him for straight talking no nonsense and his humour but he does have the BS and his favourites too.. and in this case Dan hardy was a cool guy and literally did nothing wrong he yelled stop the fight because a fight precious on the same card was late too and he’s a former fighter passionate about the risk and health and rightly so had an exchange between him and herb I get why herbs mad he’s undermining him I guess but emotions run high Dan hardy did nothing wrong so to receive that sort of warning from Dana clearly got tensions high and ultimately led to his departure
