Dana said it all ..... I offered you the fight and weather you are injured, out of shape, scared, or just plain not ready you still turned down the fight. He stayed up 36 hours to fix the card and doesn't have to give clarification to everyone that he talked to and why or why didn't they take the fight. He didn't do that for any of the other fighters so why do it just for Edgar. Edger can speak for himself which is exactly what he did.

I understand all the comments here but imo Dana explained himself pretty well here. You either jump at the chance or you don't! Diaz deserves a money fight. Just exactly like McGregor said. I think McGregor will win dominantly, mainly because of the timeline at which this has all worked out, but it was 100% the best fight to make. I hope he(Diaz) is getting paid well, what he asked for, and that he asked for enough. Let's face it, his record looks like crap, but if you actually look at the fights, Diaz has fought a lot of horrible matchups for himself, and most of the loses are 3 rd decision or split decision. It's not like he fought and got stopped a bunch of times. Diaz is a legit fighter and given the history of what he has done for the company, absolutely deserves this fight.

If Edgar can walk without crutches he should've taken the fight---that's what warriors do. As for Aldo he suffered the type of KO that permanently changes a fighter's psyche going forward,. Despite all his talk of his desire for immediate redemption in the end it was the KO that was the deciding factor on why he didn't take the fight. That could be a sign Aldo is done and may never fight again. As for RDA he probably backed out of the biggest opportunity of his career. If he can walk without crutches or a wheelchair he should have fought like true champions do.
