Why is Seto the "protector of our vale"? What's wrong with "the warrior, Seto"? And where's the musical climax with Cosmo Canyon's drums? I like this scene of rebirth, it's beautiful. But IMO because of many little details they failed to make it EPIC like it was in the original!

Because, for all intents and purposes, he's still a kid. Barely a teenager. He puts on a deeper voice earlier, but that falls away here. Same deal in the original, you notice a change in dialogue there.
