The live performance of “Odo” is totally sick!! The energy is unbelievable. It’s not
just the vocals that killed it but the whole show is on another level. Those beats,
lights and pyrotechnics makes the whole performance feel larger than life. You can
literally feel the intensity of every single beat and the crowd is living for it. It’s one of
those performances where you’re, like, “Is this even real?”
Then we get to the cover… it’s like they took everything we loved and added that
killer metal twist. The mix of clean and harsh vocals gives it this hardcore sound but
it still has that catchy core from the original. They totally elevated it. It’s, like, the
same song but from a totally different, more aggressive universe. We love how it still
keeps the energy, but with that extra punch. So, so goooood!!!!

That’s SAE on drums. “Ute-mita” (“tried to sing”) is the Japanese expression for “covered (a song).” This video made me an ADO fan. If you watch her video with the original studio recording, you will hear the same sound effects and Salsa piano used in the HANABIE cover, as well as the Japanese lyrics overlay.

When La Gringa mentioned Pink Floyd I had a good laugh, because I was actually thinking about them too! My first concert, at age 11, was a Pink Floyd laser show of the wall. And Ado's light show was reminding me of that just as she brought it up. Great minds an all that.

Ado is the epitome of the lack of ego shown by so many Japanese artists. Love the Techno-ish sound and the great percussion, especially as I've spent the morning playing the fuck out of the new Underworld (EDM faves of mine since 93) album 'Strawberry Hotel, which was released and arrived today and is bangingAF! Never seen and heard the Hanabie cover before - they know how to make it their own and the way they harmonise vocal fry and sweet melodies is awesome and always sounds so good.

For a better Ado connection i recommend unravel live ( maybe also the original by TK cause it is a cover), Aishite live, or one piece red ost backlight, tot musica or something along those lines. As someone who really likes both ADo and Hanabie thios cover was my biggest smile for a while and i showed it around ppl a LOT^^

They were fucking insane!!.. So insane that I was wondering how Jinger was going to follow that... Matsuri's live guitar tone sounds like a buzz saw. Jinjer killed it too ..Tatiana is such a great vocalist.. she goes from pretty to growl before you can blink! ..Had an awesome time man they put on an amazing show.

Ado is just great, even when she's not singing but just talking, it's a pleasure to listen to her, like in her livestream for her 22nd birthday, at the end of which she announced her world tour for 2025. Odo is one of our favorite Ado songs and Hanabie's cover version is one of the best Ado covers we've heard so far. Hanabie's cover of the song Believer (Imagine Dragons) is also very good.
