Tilian’s breakdowns were heartbreaking, but no one is pointing out Jon. This probably put him through the ringer. Jon started wiping his eyes near the end of the song. At the end he just covered his face and slouched over. He’s never been as outgoing as Tilian, but it’s hard to see someone so composed and calm start breaking down like that. I hope everyone is doing okay. Edit: Rewatching this after the new single dropped, I just noticed that Andrew had to step back during the bass line to cry. Tim was his best friend, which I actually didn't know about at the time, so seeing that hurts even more. To all who haven't, listen to Ghost of Billy Royalton, it is a great single and an even better send off. Rest in Peace Tim.

man this is devastating to watch. tilian was doing the impossible by going up there and even trying to perform for a crowd. it definitely would've made sense to postpone the festival, but there's also something beautiful about everyone coming together to celebrate tim. really brave of these guys
@simonst-laurent76012 жыл бұрын
Andrew and Tim used to place themselves back-to-back for the song's ending with Jon's part and Tim's bassline. You can see Andrew leaving the stage at the moment he's done with the guitar on this song and getting some crew members comfort him. This is hurtful. My heart goes out to them.

Being a vocalist myself, screaming while crying is so much easier than singing while crying (not saying it's easy, just that it's easier than singing). Had I been in Tilian's place I would have just yelled through all the songs. There's something cathartic about screaming your heart out when your heart is broken

I've never heard Andrew sound so powerful up in Tilian's range. Usually he sounds like he's barely pulling it out, but this was mental. Really excited to hear more from him

He also had some vocal cord issues after the last tour I believe. Probably still recovering from that I imagine.

I’ve listened to DGD for years, since I was like 14 and I’m 20 now, never really got too familiar with the band so I just listened to their music. Over the years they’d become some of my favorites, still not very familiar with the band. Watching this knowing how much they’re hurting brought tears to my eyes. I can’t imagine how they feel right now, I hope I get to see them live sometime.
