When I was in high school I just finished and I had a job my first sister school and dance I devopled anxitey disorder and mild deppression I had comptions once a month or showcase and I had practice on Tuesdays and I also danced along side my school's team sliverstars so I had very bad anxitey that I had to be prescribed four different medications to controls it and I have to have a support dog with me as well

MsJubjubbird Many of them were with Abby from the time they were 2. Even to be 8,9,10 in an environment where a mistake means you’re yelled at, a praise means your yelled at, you’re made to feel that no one has your back, and that any feelings you have whether they be good or bad, is punishable; that’s traumatic. So no, I don’t think they cry too much. I think that have PTSD and are afraid of something they love to do because a vile woman hurt them. Maybe some choreographers have a tough love approach, but full on “bullying”? That’s not right.

@@overgrownkudzu Ok but abby didnt force those kids to be on the show...their parents kept them on the show when they had a front row seat of all the pain and troubles their kids went through. Abby is mean and used the kids to get to the mothers but the mothers were just as vile (except for nia's mom and maybe melissa). Imagine working for a professional studio and saying you don't think you're ready so you will be pulling out of something; you literally won't work for them again. This scene was so unrealistic and unfortunate because they ARE growing up and getting closer to entering the real world.

The reason she has anxiety is because she’s being pressured to keep going in a sport she’s no longer passionate about but because it’s something she’s been doing for so long she can’t get out of it which is why she fails to show expression in her performances . This happens when you’re doing something for others and not yourself.

It’s honestly so frustrating how they completely ignore the fact that Kendall has anxiety. I was diagnosed with asthma at 5 and no matter how frequent my “attacks” were and how much I was they ignored the fact that I was misdiagnosed. I am of Asian descent and I have heard many times that I look exactly like other Asian people. I am well aware of the racial bias attached to that and in no way am I trying to perpetuate that. But, as humans we do share characteristics that are similar to each other, a child has their mothers smile, or their fathers face shape. I am merely marveling how, in my opinion, they do bare a similarity based not solely in appearance, but also in their teaching styles and devotion to dance.

I think Aisha is one of the best things that happened to the girls. Laurieann had the right idea, but at some point the crazy moms broke her. Aisha gave it to them straight, that in the real world, nobody cares. It is sad, but people don’t care whether you have anxiety or stress or not; they only care about whether or not you can do the job well.

Then they were given this dance to do, which Kalani was excited about, and the others got excited and wanted to try it because they wanted to look more grown up, and then as the rehearsals progressed, they realized that it was really too much for them & too old for them, and Kendall & Chloe started having anxiety over it, especially since Abby was going to be watching. Someone should have stopped it and given them a week off at that point, or let them do a different kind of dance. They went out there and did it, but I think Chloe completely blocked it from her mind and just performed it. They had been trained all their lives not to say no to a dance teacher or choreographer. Chloe filmed a special episode a couple months after that and seemed like she was surprised at the moves, shocked even... that tells me she just steeled herself to get through it and blocked it out. The moms should have said no.

CucFan I understand, that isn’t wrong. When they are working jobs, if they say no or create a fuss with the producers, they will be replaced. Nobody will care about “their stress”, they will just find another girl. The entertainment industry is cutthroat. I think that was Aisha’s point. “There are no excuses in dance”. It was Christi’s decision to bring Chloe back, and Jill’s decision to stay on for a 7th season. I blame most of the mothers. It depends on whether your kid can handle it. Nia was able to handle it, and now she is on Broadway. Chloe and Kendall couldn’t, but since their mothers didn’t refuse, now they have anxiety and other things that they didn’t have when they started with Abby in Season 1.

When Christie came in to try and help Chloe and she pushed her away that is when I knew something was really wrong because usually Chloe never pushes away her mom that’s usually what Kendall does when Kendall did that I was not surprised but when Chloe did it I was really scared for the team
