They didn't make him attack her to be hard, they wanted to see if he was cold hearted. It says in the lyrics any coward can sell drugs, any punk with a gun can bust slugs. It's easy to do these things like kill a killer cause you can justify it, causing harm to someone innocent like what he did takes a heartless person.

It's not about being "hard", it's about having a lack of emotion, having a truly cold heart. People think they're hard for just killing someone, the deeper you go down that rabbit hole you realize it's just about who's willing to do it in the most gruesome, horrifying, torturous way AND have zero remorse for it. Look at how the cartels are in Mexico, the most gruesome and fucked up cartels are the ones on top and the most feared. Being "hard" is a slippery slope.

Song gives me the shivers everytime I listen. Reminds me of a kid I knew in college(high school to Americans) who was arrested for setting up a kid to arrange a meeting to sort out a petty drug debt and then stabbed him to death. I thought about stuff he used to say to me like if I want really money I should sell cocaine instead of weed which I was selling to support my own habit and talkin about how hed send his girl outside to do his sales for him. It's True the devil grows in the hearts of selfish and wicked. He was a conflicted kid now dancing with the devil on a cold cell block. Whenever I hear this song I see his face and think about him but cant remember his voice just certain sentences he said to me which was the devil showing himself in him but I never realised at the time but looking back it was obvious. I smoked a joint with him the same month he slayed an unarmed kid over £50. I wonder if he realises now that the devil corrupted him.

The Devil is in all of us it just needs the right spark to ignite our corruption, deep inside every human theres evilness pure and concrete, some would kill for defense other for money, fame, instict, or even do worse stuff than murdering people, it just comes up to your imagination.

The craziest thing is y'all switched sides you sit on at some point and I only just noticed 🤣 Also the song both kind of is and isn't true. It's not literally true in the sense that he or anyone he knew actually did any of that shit. The whole song is just him being tired of hearing about people living life trying to be hard, chasing fake lifestyles and telling a story about where that life can lead you to so he made the most horrifying song he could think of. Although this kind of thing can and probably has definitely happened to people... maybe not in this exact way but you get the point. Anyway peace

Whenever I ran into those gangsta guys selling drugs to kids and claiming to be hustlers, I always made them look stupid. They always got mad and started threatening, the people that were always around me were all making money from my businesses. They'd look at em, tell em that they dared them to even try it, cause the moment they do, they'll end up so broke they'll end up killing themselves.
