(Bit of a overanalyzing the episode rant, just scroll past if you dont want to read) Tara approached the situation arrogantly. Anyone who knows Christian is aware that he has some issues in his past that bother him(even if she didn't know anything, his dad's face folded In the picture and what he said about him should have been clear indicator that it's a touchy subject). She immediately jumped to the conclusion that his reaction was due to his father, rather than considering the other people that may have been in his life and caused it (or how maybe just making it sound like he was a problem was hurtful and would be hurtful to anyone else). She could have talked about his mom first and then moved on to his dad and ask for a bit more details. If he didn't want to talk it would have been fine. As the relationship would progress, friends or otherwise, he may start to talk about it. Then once she had all of the information she could have made her decision from there. I understand that no one is perfect but she should have stopped after the way he reacted about it the first time. She didn't think about how her actions would effect him and now there are consequences.

Okay yall I love the comments here but I do want to mention that the point of the show is to portray the life of a few teenagers in a dance academy. They are literal teenagers who dont know how to deal with serious situations in life and they all have their flaws. The point here is to show that they are NOT one dimensional characters, I think compared to other children's shows I watch in the US this show actually put more effort into making sure to tackle important topics and give the characters a realistic, imperfect personality. I am 20 now, just got out of teen years and I can say I have done so so may embarrassing things, did not know how to deal with serious issues properly but we all learn and as someone who watched this show 1000000 times I can guarantee that they improve. I love that they are all imperfect just like us, I think we are all so used to watching one dimensional teen character that something like this feels really new and WOAH (it did to me at first at least)
