Hi Elliott - I appreciate all the dance knowledge you add to the audience’s vocabulary. Also, on (8:35-8:37 repeated again at 8:51-8:53) they actually move to the base-like guitar. The move mimics the texture of the music. When I was learning dance we refer to the texture as reverb. Maybe known as another term now. Like a ball hitting a wall and bouncing off. 😉
@ElliottNewVillage3 жыл бұрын
This whole comment! YESSS! The movement’s Pathway is in fact a Reverb because it bounces back to the same path it started from! But the Texture of the movement is the speed dynamic of the execution! They are moving to the Bass of the guitar which is the songs ongoing Cadence of the chorus! I love seeing others dancers are also watching my content! Much love ❤️

I've always loved your seventeen content because I have always thought that even though I never fully fell into the diamond life I have always thought Seventeen is arguably the most well rounded group in kpop. They do everything well and are so involved and talented and entertaining and then boom this song came out and I've been SO FUCKING OBSESSED. It's SO good. This choreo is so satisfying and the song is SO catchy. I am now officially calling myself a Carat and I will be purchasing my light stick with my next k-pop order goodbye money.

Elliot, I've been watching since the first svt reaction video you made and i wanna take this time to appreciate the little FYIs you've been sharing with us - the technical names of dances, how these terms were coined, etc. And the edits (highlighting a member, drawing patterns) so we can easily see your point. I like the nitpicking because i notice things i didn't on my first watch, and it makes me appreciate their choreo more. You're still my favorite reaction channel :)
