32:25 Not sure if you guys realised but this entire choreography is based on sign languages. You can see them use it throughout the entire MV."Dance" is a gesture where two fingers on the right hand move left to right over the "stage" represented by the left palm, while "peace" is a "V" sign with both hands. A still from the music video for "Permission to Dance" shows Suga and Jungkook dancing the sign for "enjoy." That's what makes this choreo interesting! Many deaf people all around the world has been overwhelmed being able to understand these small things through their choreo. They also made it so everyone can dance to it and it is more inclusive.

just fyi, clay & grace, very few kpop idols do freestyle, especially at this level. Very few! He did quite a few vlives showing Jimin, Tae & JK how to groove & do a few different moves and freestyling. (and as you saw Jimin freestyles a little too!) He's so encouraging & loves dance enough to want to share things with others. Hoseok is rare in that he genuinely loves dancing, freestyle and labbing AND shares his studio time with fans. He does it out of his joy with dance and shares it with joy, too. 💜

Hobi is known as the best dancer, not only in BTS but in the music industry as well. This was proved, not that it needed to be proved. Not all dancers can do any dance style and J-hope is an example of an exceptional performer. For years, he's proven to people how wide his knowledge and understanding to music. He works hard on his own to keep getting better everytime and people don't even need to be a dance expert to see how gifted he is.

A comment I saw on another dance hoseok video that I feel more need to read : "He's the rightful Nation's dancer .He doesn't dance, he interpret the damn song BTS main dancer, dance & choreography leader, lead choreographer [and stage commander] He was a very famous street dancer before debut (also was in an underground group called "Neuron". Bangster, co-leader of Neuron and teacher to Hobi, has also worked on BTS choreos over the years -better to know the underground dance groups are not just bunch of Dancers gathered together / they are very well disciplined and moderated. mostly divided to Jr and Sr groups like Neuron, They e so well-managed with an high class level of dance), Former ares national dance competitions champion & most famous dancers of town (Gwangju) and interesting the when he Joined Bangtan, some people were knowing BTS a BTS as a group o that super skilled dancer Jung Hoseok has joined to, 15+ years of experience, start dancing since very very young age and finally Studied dance in one of the best dance institute from 2006-2012 (The academy name is "Joy Dance & Plug in Music" - 5+ superstar has graduated from there), graduated as top student [has both academic and practical experience, also remarkably is known as a multi style dancer !]. he is absolutely perfect or damn nearly perfect in any style (he is THE ONE that I call multi style), watch BTS reaction to Dancing High, his comments about every y single stage is very too professional, he was the only one who could recognize quickly t that, one of trainee was doing freestyle which only just one Judge could understand this/His Father abandoned him bcuz Hoseok quitted studying and everything just for dance (his father is Literature teacher. hobi only has a older sister, she is very branded and successful Fashion designer, around that time her Sister success sister was studying in America and Australia, intelligent/beautiful/successful so you can easily feel how much pressure this boy carried in such young ages) Then the only who helped him to afford all these expensive ass classes and that inner pressure was him mom. his song MAMA, one of his Wing's album solo, he wrote it to appreciate his mom. "Time travel.. to 2006" the very first sentence; the lyrics genuinely talk with you. (Recommend to watch it ) + He has Both an Urban and street dance as Root.[It's really a Big deall street dance is the hugest branch of widest dance genre, HipHop, and Their dancers has a very strong background, They absolutely execution very damn well-exhibited moves and are ultimate multi style. You can watch Hoya, for instance, His modern blindfold dance in hit the stage was one of the Best. So, J-Hope is not just randomly Good at some styles, he is God at whatever he does period. just bcuz you haven't seen yet thanks to bighit, doesn't mean he's not capable of (which if you knew a lil about dance you could see how stylish his moves are, He is a top class dancer, his musicality and skills Ranks up with the best dancers of world (.) He has total authorities to change the choreo & his inputs and own touch in songs always are stunning like Fake love mirror dance, always makes songs more intense as what their choreographer said! Their Choreographer and Dance teacher Mr. Son Seung Deuk And The members has multiple time said that "He is the Band's Best Dancer" without hesitation. learn a whole damn choreo just within 30 min (his Excellent memory). BTS's choreos!!! and he's like "our moves are so easy (!) while just a dance break take more than 4 hours for other members [ he learned DNA lala Dance break in 10min in the day of my shooting while all other members has put 4+ hrs for learning it days before]. If he went full pro dancer, he would surly became very famous and professional dancer and choreographer! Amazing facial expressions which always being praised by professionals too (such as the Best seller K-Mag "AI AIN") and about his facial expressions; the real dance performer will remember every each of the movement on their body so that the I loose the burden on their face..it's like they only need to hit the beat with the body because they already remember the choreo..that why jhope is smiling more & often.. the real face expression only come when you don't have any dance move/ step anymore so your brain trying to figured out some movements! Muscle memory. J-hope displays great muscle memory. He doesn't have to think about his dancing as much because his muscles remember the work, so he can just slay. He has such incredible technique, it just amazes every time. His control, his musicality, his rhythm, his positional awareness, he dances to the tips of his fingers and beyond, he gets steps either absolutely technically perfect or damn near to it every single time, infuses emotion and color into every move. *The isolation & maneuver of individual body parts when he dances, sharp extension & accents on beats, superb sense of rhythm/musicality, groove & swag, lightness & ease of movements, flawless continuity/fluidity between each motion, control/balance/every fine coordination, grounded by his physical strength. What further remarkable is his body line over head/neck/shoulder/arm/hands that has CLASSICAL quality of elegance & grace, rarely seen in Hip Hop dancers (JHope dance skill is UNIQUE & therefore is @ the different level, in this sense); all prove why he was a former champion of the dance competition/Korea. No doubt, he always STAND OUT far above even among those well-trained rest Kpop dancers He is indeed a gift for Kpop industry and Army fandom, Hope his skills be appreciated finally & I swear I'll break that idiot's neck who dare to discredit him" Feel free to copy anywhere

Yes!!!!!!! I totally agree that when J-hope dance, he doesn't worry / think about the next step! It's so enjoyable to watch him perform! It's like, I don't feel tired and worried that, "oh, will he do it well?" the way he performs, I can trust him that HE WILL AND IS DOING IT. Like, you know, he really don't think about the next move TOTALLY AGREEEEE

I honestly don’t know a whole lot about BTS, aside from the fact that their songs are really catchy. But having been a dancer for many years, I think I’m in love with J-Hope because of these videos ❤️

Whenever experienced dancers talk about j-hope, they mention how strong his foundations are - i.e., how he's mastered so many different styles and you just don't see that in k-pop. As much as I seek stuff like this out, I still don't think I've grasped just how good he is because dancing is a world I don't belong to. Kudos for a video that was more helpful than most in trying to explain some of that. 1:25 Oh you put it into words... I know what you mean about other dancers doing the random shakiness... it makes me feel a bit uneasy watching them? like they're a ragdoll? I don't feel that with j-hope because you're so right, his dancing just makes sense. It's like those pictures of things fitting perfectly into other things.

JHope breathing is a dance move! His dancing, to me, is who he is. I don’t think I’m explaining myself very well. ☺️ I believe that Hobi will dance for the rest of his life. Dancing is breathing to him; he can’t NOT dance. He is PHENOMENAL!

I love this video so much. Mostly bc of the fact that if you type 'jhope dancing reaction' into the search bar, all the videos popping up will just be about 'woow jhope is amazing!!' but in this video you analyze the how and why of exactly that soo well and honestly the tips you give to any dancer in this are so helpful, I hope everyone that is on their journey to become a better dancer/performer is listening closely to these words. It proves again how much we can learn from other dancers if we really want to
