Top tip, if you're gonna microwave anything that that is usually prepared by steaming if its fresh (buns, rice, bread chee cheong fun etc) put a glass of water inside and the water will steam it as its being heated up. It would prevent any hard edges that she got with the chee cheong fun

Any ceramic/glass kitchen stuffs or things that you would use when eating that are fragile and got cracks are considered bad luck so we don't keep it anymore at least that's normal here where i live, in southeast asia Few days after new year both me and my mom broke a mug, wine bottle and drinking glass for no reason at all, it did not even fall on the floor or got accidentally damaged, the mug just broke on its own while washing dishes after a week my whole fam got sick one by one, cough cold fever sore throat in one to the point my dad got admitted to the hospital 😷😷

@TheRealArkness

@@evil1by1 it's not trash if you can find a use for it. if you keep everything that ever breaks, yes maybe it is hoarding. but not all of it. and sometimes some things will have sentimental value.

The Hong Kong eggettes are child hood memories. I remember begging my mother and grandmother for those everyday. Now I don’t really eat those, but my little siblings does 😊 The eggett in this video is not supposed to look burnt, they are supposed to be golden crispy color on the outside, and soft white in the inside without the cheese fillings of course

I personally don't know much about the dish, so I might be wrong. I believe it was black since the flavor was called "Charcoal cheese" so maybe they wanted to imitate the color of charcoal.

DancingBacons, you help me look for and try all the foods I wouldn't normally get at the grocery store! I wish American foods weren't so boring!
@JMarieCAlove
@JMarieCAlove 2 жыл бұрын
Seriously? All the food in America?! Umm no… Tell that to all the food companies all over America and restaurants that have been around for several decades how boring all the food in America is boring! I’m sure they’ll listen to you Lol… American food isn’t boring at all. But a lot of people who immigrated from other countries to live in America, brought their food, and made it our own, in America! Don’t know what you buy or eat that you think is boring but there’s a ton of American food that a lot of Americans love to eat. If it’s so boring to you, then either do something about it or move to an Asian country since you think the food they make is so much better. People who visit here in the U.S., love our food and American food chains are in several different countries and we do have different ethnic food you can buy just about anywhere in the U.S. But American food is delicious, if it wasn’t so good, then why do we all love to buy it and eat it? Too bad you bashed your own country. If you think American food is so boring, please don’t ever eat any of it ever again, don’t go to a restaurant or buy candy, you might die from eating boring food! Lol.. unbelievable how some people from the U.S. watch a video from another country and make an ignorant and disrespectful comment about their own country. I bet you’re a millennial. Anyone who comes from America and hates on it, bashes America, you don’t belong here but please move to a third world country, we won’t miss you but you’ll be back in the U.S. so fast and realize how great you have it here. Boring, lol, still no. Your comment is absolutely ignorant. I think you should get out more often. Lol 😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@@JMarieCAlove girl, American food is bad. People buy and eat because they need to live😭😂 that's why people often eat out Chinese, Italian, Spanish etc food. If you think that "American food" which is often fast food is good, then you really need to taste better food asap😭

Consider this perspective: it's boring to you because it's something you experience in your every day life! To someone in Japan, okonomiyaki is quite boring. In my case, balut and steamed meat buns are also kind of boring since I can get them whenever I want but I bet those are pretty exotic sounding to you, right? You know what gets me excited? Dr Pepper. It's a real treat whenever I can find some. Panda Express is also such a novelty.
