I think what Chandler and Brandon did this season was incredible! They made history of being the first black couple to make it to the finale and this freestyle was so, so good! The best one of the night! Brandon also deserves major props for his choreography this season! Sad they didn’t win, but I’ll always think about this pairing and how great they were

I was excited when I saw they wanted to reference the Nicholas Brothers during rehearsal. When I heard the song from Hellzapoppin start when they hit the dance floor I started crying. Hellzapoppin is considered the greatest piece of Lindy Hop ever put on the big screen. Lindy Hop is a black vernacular dance that originated in the Savoy ballroom in Harlem. It's an incredible and vibrant dance that doesn't get the attention it deserves. Seeing Brandon incorporate some of the moves from Hellzapoppin into this routine as well as the song is just incredible. What a beautiful love letter this is to black dance

Don't even have the words to express how proud I am of Chandler and Brandon. All I can say right now is, this dance trancends the show. It's a celebration that means so much to many Black artists out there, and I'm happy they created a fantastic number for us to digest! They have inspired me in many ways... i am extremely disappointed that these two placed third especially when they were clearly the strongest dancers. this show is living proof that even when you are the most consistent, it still isn’t enough. regardless of the results i am extremely grateful to have witnessed their partnership. they constantly KILLED each and every one of their routines so seamlessly. chandler has a bright future ahead of her and i can’t wait to see what is next for her.

This was the most creative dance from among thecontestants tonight, by far! Throw Brandon in the Emmy race! I was really hoping Chandler would win, but I'm not mad Joey won, either. She and Brandon definitely had the most memorable dances tho & I hope she knows how amazing she is! Also, I ADORE the reference to the Nicholas Brothers. Truly in a league of their own, with their acrobatic tap routines. Micheal & Janet Jackson even attended their dance school & MJ's moonwalk is a modified version of one of their's. I recommend looking up their "Jumping Jive" routine. It's iconic.

It's unfortunate Chandler was robbed. However, she's not the first star to be robbed and I doubt she'll be the last. I stopped taking this show seriously, because it's obvious that it's rigged. My beautiful sister...It goes back even further than Zendaya. I've been watching DWTS actively since Season 7. I stopped watching it for many years for this very reason. Even before I started watching it was happening. Season 5, Mel B (Spice Girls and America's Got Talent) was runner up. Season 9, Mya (R & B singer) was runner up. And lets not forget the many other beautiful Queens who were eliminated just before they could get to the finale. Stars like Brandy, Lil' Kim, and Simone Biles. It use to boggle my mind that in the 33 seasons the show has ben airing, that there has only been one black female who has one the mirrorball trophy. That was Amber Riley during Season 17. That's when I started watching again, and followed her journey the whole season. Oh she was not the favorite at the start of the season. She had to grind and prove herself the entire season. But she scored all 9's on her very first dance, which only two other stars had accomplished in the history of DWTS. And she never received lower than a 7 score the entire season. You never get more than two black females cast during each season, so the balance is very uneven. I know someone will say don't make it about race, but with the evidence so obvious, I don't know what else to call it.

I think it's unfortunate that stars with a bit of a dance background or some training are almost persecuted for it. Zandaya, Jojo Siwa, and now Chandler, although clearly the most talented of their season, continue to not win essentially because people seem to hold them to an even higher and unfair standard. As a retired dance teacher, I will simply say this, just because you have been trained in one or two particular styles does NOT necessarily mean you will excel at another. Is it helpful? Yes. Of course. But if they're not professional ballroom dancers coming in, they should also be given some grace and room to grow!!

The program doesnt have the same rules anymore, Mark talk in a podcast about It, it's not ballroom strictly. The dances just have a bit of ballroom techniques. So yes, the dance background that some celebrities have its important, they have more expectations for them Also the public matters a lot, we saw it with Bobby and Sharna. I guess she doesn't have that much of fans as Ilona for example

First off it wasn't just two styles try 5! Tap, ballet, flamenco, contemporary and hip hop and she went to an academy! Yes she is talented, but walked in with already knowing musicality, timing, choreography and how to dance. You put her against others who have none and expect to judge her the same? Ive danced, ive taken ballroom classes, jazz and ballet. I did musical theater for most of my life. The jazz and ballet helped me in ballroom. I knew how to pick up on the steps fast, musicality and everything my instructor taught me. But if I went into a competition against my instructor he'd smoke me. Just like Chandler did. It was too hard to judge her versus someone like Llona or Joey. It was hard for others to remember if she was the pro because she was so good. It's like putting an experienced chef who had classes and knew how to cook versus an amateur walking in not knowing how to boil water. They won't both be on the same wave. Chandler could easily be in competition against a pro.
