Most of the women who love BTS are an older demographic. I actually don’t like pop or mainstream music at all. I’m a metal fan and yet I love BTS. I love all the genres they do. And the fact that they mix genres. And each members musical style is so different and yet they mix these styles together it’s amazing.

This was a good choice to react to. He just forgot to mention that "Butter" reached no. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 for 9 straight weeks, then when "Permission To Dance" was released, the song went straight to No. 1 too. Then the next week, Butter went back to no. 1. We call this moment in ARMYdom the "baton pass" where the no. 1 spot was "passed" from one BTS song to another. So between May to July of 2021, BTS was on top for 11 weeks straight, blocking Olivia Rodrigo's single and album, the industry plant at the time. And in my observation, this is one of the reasons why the music industry is mad and scared, and they did all these unfair tricks to ensure BTS didn't easily reach the top. But BTS still took the no. 1 spot with their collab song, My Universe with Coldplay months after, and all their other songs thereafter still entered Billboard charts. I also like to add that BTS is the real-life underdog story. They always say in their speeches that they are grateful and that they do not take any of their successes and the love and support of fans for granted. I have so much more to say but that's it for now Haha! :)

For real...especially now that they ALL have Voting rights in HYBE (cause they have stocks in Hybe)..and if you watch their Bangtan b0mbs or any documentary..they are the one who have the FINAL SAY.. like in dance practice or in their artistry.. if they think it needs improving they will record it again.. even the cam dir would say ok perfect, but for them it's not then it's not.. or when BigHit staff suggest Yoongi to do Stadium tour but Yoongi thinks Arena is enough then Arena is it... They are free to do their work and i think that's why their works are so diverse...

BTS actually talked about the change from Dark and Wild album to The Most Beautiful Moment in Life album series on their recent documentary. I think it was Suga who said that they happened to be particularly sad, hurt and tired during and after Dark and Wild, due to the mental, physical and financial suffering. Which then led to a sound change. So it was not only them thinking what would make them mainstream. Though it might have been one of the reasons of course❤ Btw you guys have really good commentary on your BTS videos!

Thanks for the reaction. I've always admired BTS, in terms of attitude and charisma, music, the relationship between members, fans and the agency. They respect each other and have been successful together from zero, until now HYBE was formed. Although the path taken is not easy. I still remember how painful hate speech was to them. But they succeeded in building HYBE with blood, sweat and tears, and who witnessed their struggle was TXT, their juniors at Big Hit.. So that idols who join HYBE can experience all the facilities available. Sometimes it really hurts me to see the fans of idols in hybe, Who still hates BTS :( I will always hope that Bangtan will always be successful 💜💜💜

yeah me too but i think it all comes from jealousy 🙄 also BTS has so many Army who only support BTS, myself included who don´t know other groups we only se the online attacks. they hate army because we only stan BTS and they want support for the whole kpop industry basically. i asked around because i didn´t understand it. i remember i was going to the cinema watching BTS in busan, and one of the army there i talked to said she had been to concert of other bands and then i said okay i only know BTS. and she litterally looked at me like i was weird or something. and i find it so strange because people who love ariana or justin wont automatically like taylor swift right? it´s all pop but people have their own preference. to me it´s wierd to love all kpop it´s not realistic.

There were social media back then like KZbin, Twitter and Facebook although not as much as we have today but the big problem was... the artists’ agencies doesn’t allow them to use and interact with fans and Majority of the time their mobile phone use was also controlled by their agency compared to how Big Hit gives freedom to BTS to do so. The reasons behind this in my opinion was, mainly for the Company’s/Agency’s sake and image or we could call it “damage control”. Since Bang PD wants BTS to reach out to their fans and audience and let the world see for themselves how amazing BTS are... he gave them enough freedom to express themselves and interact with fans all over the world thru social media. It’s such a gem that RM, Jin, Suga, JHope, Jimin, V and Jungkook are 7 humble, respectful, greatful, sincere and honest boys in the harsh and hard industry of entertainment. Also, majority of the agencies doesn’t allow their artists to write, create and produce their own music and wouldn’t allow them to have any say in their albums and activities unlike how BTS are allowed and encouraged to do so. Now these benefits and freedom are enjoyed by other artists understand HYBE to be able to at least follow the path of how BTS reached their success.

Also I have deep feeling that when Bang worked for another kpop agency he saw too many thing wrong with it and made a list of what NOT to do. His ethos was completely different he saw the problems with the Kpop Industry and didn't want his company to be part of the problem.

The clips from the new monuments series shows RM being told how Hyves Training and Developement programme was hugely influenced by what RM had done with BTS. Insisting they study music ( HE MADE CDS AND BEGGED THEM TO LISTEN TO THEM WITH TEARS IN HIS EYES from a different conversation. V says he still listens to new music every day.) emphasising individuality and personal responsibility for your individual creative journey. His emphasis on mental health means trainees get assessed once a year. Trainees now participate in the creation of targeted training plans. They said even how and who the the company choose as trainees had completely changed. Focusing on passion for music not just skill. Think how young RM was when he took on all this responsibility and how brilliantly he led his team. He seems to combine excellent instincts with immense foresight. Yet watch his lives and he is besset by self doubt and crisis of confidence. Humble talented kind and clever. Great stage craft and rap skills.

Honestly I think was already in them plan to go wild in genres, even if them image at first was more hippopotamus like and darker, they still have some pop or more melodic songs, you just didn't discover them yet or you reacted to them but you do not associate with those first albums, as you are not even checking the release date of your reactions or at what album or time in them career they are belong to. True at first it was more rap until they find the perfect balance, but even till today they do songs which are just rap and songs they are just vocal line. Guys they make it all and them intentions not the leave a genre untouched. Suga is even thinking of immersing in some folk music and as all ARMYs in the world know: WHAT SUGA WANTS, SUGA GETS.

What’s amazing for Bang Sihyuk before stepping down as HYBE CEO but he retains as the Chairman, he made BIGHIT MUSIC a Private-Independent company that operates independently even if it’s under Hybe (Parent company) so with that being said, Board members of Hybe have 0 control of Bighit Music Artists (BTS, TXT, and the solo artists) which is very wise and strategic. So whatever happens if in case other label subsidiaries under Hybe (in worse case, gets dissolved- Bighit Music won’t be affected) Meaning to say, NO ONE can touch BTS. 🤭💜

Why did BigHit become Hybe? Simple answer ... progress. But in this context, you cannot have that type of progress & expansion without money. BigHit made BTS who in turn made Hybe. But we also have to remember that none of this could have happened without ARMY, from the wallets of ARMYs, as well as the ARMY's push, not only the push onto the media but also pushing BTS to keep going.
