You know, there is one original point that I have about the situation and other situations that I haven't seen people say or at least come with a solution for. Why don't they just remove the ability to add any social media whatsoever to any game, especially Discord. I thought this was going to be the case because they changed the way videos work on the game pages with all the videos being embedded in Roblox itself meaning you can no longer click onto the original video. Also how Discord, Twitter (if "X" was then that would be funny), and I think KZbin are all censored words so I don't know they even allow me to link those websites on their platform. To be fair you can't even say Finn, Boxten, or Flutter for god knows what reason as well because the tag system is horrifically strict so this could be just an error they ever bothered to fix but it feels more deliberate or at the very least isn't connected to some like weird bypass method of speech that gross people use that literally no one else would know about. Either this is all to say, removing the forums was a mistake because that was literally a Roblox moderated Discord on the site itself, it seems like they might have plans to bring something similar back within groups but like that still wouldn't solve the problem if Discord and other outside sites are still able to be linked. And this isn't bringing up how Roblox's moderation really needs to get their stuff together but also how at a certain point, the parents are also to blame and I don't like how a lot of people just chose to blame either one or another when it should be both of their responsibilities to within their power they have. Nonetheless, these two groups are far more to blame than anyone making art or playing the game, but for some reason, I've only really seen people blame individuals and not the giant company that is allowing this to happen or the parents' negligence when it comes to this pacific situation. Putting all that weight onto a group of people with far less power then those other two groups is just strange. Edit: I was wrong about the KZbin thing but still my point still stands that Roblox should try to keep traffic on their site only. Also Discor and KZbin should care way more then they do about cases like this as well.

I don't know much about the game, so I can't give much insight, but knowing it's a children's game (and being the older sister of children myself), kids don't really know any better. You could argue until you're blue in the face, but kids won't realize that they're in danger until it's too late. I feel like we should probably take a more direct approach to protecting this child audience, so no one else falls victim to it. They have a discord server I assume, I feel like that should be talked about more. Not that I'm saying that people "aren't doing enough" or that they're "evil and lazy", what I'm saying is that I don't want anyone else to possibly fall victim, especially with how poorly children are treated nowadays (with all the "Gen alpha" hate and such). I hope the victims are able to recover and lead happy lives, and that Rox ends up six feet underground.

This is the perfect example of how NOT to make a game review 1: it is true that the game took inspiration of minus elevation, although, minus elevation had a similar concept whit a game named dead by daylight (DBD) for short, DW (for me) is like “hey! Lets mix dead by daylight survivor gameplay and rougelike system!” To create it, minus elevation was not the first one to make a game whit that concept of gameplay, there is plenty of those already 2: stamina is not borderline bad, you simply dont manage it right, you probably sprint all the time till you run out of it 3: man you surely make a clickbait video, because this gives the “dont play dandy’s world” vibes, the destructive criticism goes hard 3: yes, hate to agree, the game has a quite easy boring loop, and remember. The game is on alpha yet, meaning that they will change things from the game, to add new things, maybe new gamemodes. Or different gameplay, to add variety of the game 4: man, if you like minus elevation so much as well white rox, why dont you just marry them already and have a poly love relationship? Seriously, bringing those to the argument over and over again feels your only argument is those two, either ‘play the other game is better” or “rox is a edp 445” thing, yes, we get it, you like the game more than the other, but please, dont rub it on our faces 5: rox probably will be banned from the team, im not sure, but since he is a groomer. As someone who has every single toon in the game (except 1) I can agree it’s not fun grinding for these characters. It took me many months to get where I am now, Not only does this game have a god awful repetitive game, It WILL NEVER take community notes to make the game better and less repetitive than it is now. Also getting research from certain characters take SOOOO LONG! It took me a month to get pebbles due to how slow this system is. And I have a problem with the community aswell, I hate how some creators take advantage that this is a kid game! I feel like balance patches should be there main focus along with just refining the game as a whole. After the next update which is going to be skins along with probably gamepasses, I hope they put serious effort into balancing each toon (well expect Shimpo) to be fun to use. Distracting isn't one of the four toon archetypes as machinery, sacrifice, support, and healers are the roles each toon has but distracting was created by the community because of the game being an endless mode so by that nature with the way that it's programmed it becomes impossible to play the game the way it was intended eventually because of how difficult it gets. That or instead of it becoming way too hard, it becomes way too tedious because of having to leave a machine and then come back all the time. Distracting is a symptom of how the game is made and the fact that it wasn't a intended aspect of the game shows that there's something wrong with the way the game works. This all sucks because they don't take feedback from their community so I have no idea how they will fix this but if they don't then that's not the biggest loss, we still have Foster's Sanctuary aka that overly hated fan game which the hate towards it doesn't even make sense because of Dandy's World lifting heavily from Minus Elevation. Either way that game could maybe rise above and from my knowledge it has better devs so that would be cool if that ends up happening.

I was talking about the game itself though and you can even see at the bottom of my comment that I do infact bring up Rox being a horrible person along with how there's a fan game that could potentially replace Dandy's World. My brother in christ, if Distracting/Distractor was made up by the community then what the hell is Goob??? Distracting had always been a part of the game and wasn't made up by the community. Goob was made explicitly at the game release being a distractor, this had been said before the meta were even defined and roles were for each Toons obvious. Sacrifice on the other hand is something you just made up, it make no sense to have a character in a multiplayers teamwork game to sacrifice them self and stop playing the game. There no such Toons for that and there will never be because it just bad game design.

The idea of a character spinning around in a circle for the entire floor is something that I don't think anyone would make an intended system of their game in the first place. It feels like some Wavedashing stuff, but in Goob's case, it's far worse, and he's the go-to distractor. To me, Goob's role in a team feels like it should be support because why would a character with an active ability to help people out of tricky situations spin around in a circle so people don't have to engage with an integral part of the game meaning that said people should not get near them, aka they can't use their active ability and only use it for when the elevator is about to close aka the next of the floor. At that point, just give his stats to another character because they do not go well with kiting for an entire round. Scarps and Glisten have active abilities that actively don't work with this style of distracting, it feels like they are meant to bring a Twisted away from another Toon before getting out of there themselves. Now, on this topic, I barely hear people bring up kiting; I only really heard it from one video, and the same goes for sacrifice type characters; I only really heard them once before. From my knowledge, this term was created because of how distracting is usually associated with kiting, so it's kind of hard for people to know what you mean when you're asking for someone to distract. The way stealth works as a whole is a very weird mechanic but something that it does do well is helping people that are being chased that have higher stealth than you. I don't think a mechanic like this was supposed to be involved with spinning around in a circle but rather helping teammates who are getting chased down. Brightney is my go-to example for this because the way that she's both fast but also has low stealth makes it feel like you are supposed to help people because of how much faster you are along with how the Twisteds will prioritize you. But in the case of Poppy and Boxten's dynamic, it feels like you're meant to bring Twisted away from someone doing a machine instead of jumping in to help them while they are being chased. This is why a lot of Poppys stand by someone doing a machine, and this was how I was as well. Now, to wrap this up, sacrifice and distraction type characters are the same thing, but the reason why there are two separate terms is that it's just not viable for many characters that would be able to distract to be doing that for the entire floor but that's what people want out of them. And I think making only one person engage with an important part of the game and that said one person more important than any other teammate if anyone wants to see the later floors feels like something people created to get over the way the game is made instead of how the initial vision of the game was supposed to be. The game was made with an arcade philosophy of it being endless and getting progressively harder because of that but not being a fair challenge because of that nature. I'm not good at Pac Man's endlessly increasing difficulty, so that's why I'm super into it. That's also the same reason why I only really care for Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion's story mode and not the endless mode; it's the difficulty that is determined by a machine that does not know the limits that humans have.

Running in a circle is just kinda one most efficient but also risky way to distract twisted due to it helping with Twisted potential speed differences between the slow one (Shrimpo and Finn) with faster one (Toodles, Shelly, Flutter). There are patterns you have to slowly learn and map knowledge you gotta know to efficiently kite and distract twisted as you can’t really turn off your brain and run around in circles on a floor with Snipers/Mains combos. It is a playstyle that is fun to play as and can be challenging to learn and properly execute. >To me, Goob's role in a team feels like it should be support because why would a character with an active ability to help people out of tricky situations spin around in a circle Goob is a distractor with a support tool and not a support Toon, a Toons can fullfill more then one role or have a tool in their kit that doesn’t strictly follow their role. Just like how Vee is an extractor/supporter with their Twisted scan and Tisha/Sprout also being a distractor/support. Just because Goob ability is one thing doesn’t mean his entire play style should revolve around dragging people around, let not forget his ability has quite a cooldown so he can’t get you out of chase all the time. Just because Astro is a supporter, doesn’t mean he isn’t also an extractor. >People don't have to engage with an integral part of the game meaning that said people should not get near them, aka they can't use their active ability and only use it for when the elevator is about to close aka the next of the floor. Goob low stealth literally means people can safely go near them most of the time and if they were to be pulled into Goob, the Goob would be the one to likely take the hit if the twisted caught up or can safely pull them away and save whoever was in trouble. There a lot of application for Goob ability outside of pulling them into the elevator (Pulling people from Rodger/RND, pulling people into island/loop to give them better chance of escape/you taking the aggro instead and help those that are just slow/ran out of stamina to reach places faster/help them get away), just because you don’t know them doesn’t mean it useless.

I think there's a difference between plagiarism and inspiration. Like yeah, rox and qwel are bad people(especially rox the Kid d1ddler), but calling a game a carbon copy is a bit far-fetched. Minus elevation doesn't have good mobile controls because, literally, all of the controls are where the movement stick is, and the sprint button is right above it, so most of the time i go slower when i try to enable sprint. Dandy's World is easier to control. And you can just use toodles or a toon with ana bility to gain ichor fast..

I played both minus elevation and dandys world. And I do agree with the minus elevation controls, I keep stopping everytime. And diddys world is more high quality and more erm. Grindy? But minus elevation is more challenging and a tad bit more unique. While diddys world, your gonna need to grind and it takes MUCH more longer to reach a specific floor unlike minus elevation. Dandy’s world is much more slower in gameplay, (not really helping that the maps. Kinda suck, in terms of visuals. So I do prefer a different game besides minus + Dandy, like there’s more games with better controls + more fun🤑

Also another grind problem is main twisteds imo spawning an enemy that's required for you to get a character at floor 5 is insane its completely unfair too since its all rng i went to floor 20 without a single sprout and since that dam bored cant put shit people want its useless they shouldn't have made a board anyway they could have judg raised the chances of main twisteds so their still possible to get it took me a week to get shelly after she came out and now with sprout i barely have 20 research and its been multiple weeks since he was released

I had fun playing dandy’s world, but then I slowly realized what the gameplay loop was. I got less and less excited to play the game when the weekend came. Then I heard what the heck was happening with the developers. I felt like I was at risk staying inside the server. I always felt uneasy staying there. The last straw was when I joined a VC run, trying to relax and I got called an idiot multiple times when I was playing a support character. I realized the game is shit, the community is shit, and the developers are shit. so I just ditched the server and stopped talking in it. For all the rox defenders that swarm to Adam duck and telling him he’s obsessed with this topic, he’s like a new outlet, of course they are going to milk a topic, but if it gets to the point where a fully grown man is grooming a very young person, then yes it should be milked and should be spread around to everyone. Sorry for this rant, this whole thing is just crazy.
