Great reaction! That is pretty much how many of us Daneliya fans found out about her. Stone Cold was amazing, but it was actually the 2nd song that sold me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and had to immediately search for every video I could find of this amazing young talent. A coupe of hours later I had seen more videos and was still a bit in shock. I've been a huge fan ever since. In this video she is speaking Russian and singing in both English and Ukranian. 3 languages just like that, at 10 years of age. She also sings in Kazakh and French. Crazy talent!

If you watch Daniela's eyes while she is singing, you'll see that she is in the 'zone' seeing nothing, and there are no distractions to bother her. Then once she is done singing the sparkle in her eyes returns. Simply amazing. I think she won the contest that year. One of my favorite performances.

She is My Favorite young artist & any of her covers & songs are great!!!! Keep enjoying this ride as she has one of the best voices I've heard. Her voice control is fantastic and her tone is as good as anyone!!!! She is working on her music & vocals but is very serious about her schooling so is not jumping right in much like Angelina Jordan. She has promised many new covers and some new music as well during her summer break. Daneliya has natural singing talent and her ability to project emotion in her songs is incredible, but her ability with languages blows my mind as well. Ten years old and she comes from Kazakhstan, sings a powerful rendition of a song in English, then another one in Ukrainian. Both counties languages are Slavic languages and Russian is common in both countries, but I don't think she was talking and singing in Russian. In any case, she is spending more time in the USA and her English has gotten great in a short time. And her singing is phenomenal. Better every year.

What surprised the judges on the second song was she sang it in Ukrainian. Daneliya is from Kazakhstan. They both have a common language in Russian. I see the other commentors also told you she won. At that time she was the only non-Ukrainian to win that contest. She was and still is the youngest winner too. The next year the boy who won was Alexander Zazarashvili from Georgia. I'm going to give you a link to his BLIND audition. You don't have to react unless you are hard up for things to react to. I also want you to go back to just before Daneliya starts to sing while she is still in the dark she said something that you missed because you were talking. Today Daneliya since that night has just gone over 1 million subscribers.She is a singular talent and between she and Angelina they have the future of music in pretty good hands. My own experience with Daneliya started with this performance. I will tell you I have never had a more visceral connection with a singer in my life.The quality of her vocals is so beautiful it actually makes me cry. The there is her mastery of nuance.
