Funny thing is, Batman has far more experience dying than Jason, but the fact that Jason refused to let Bruce die again knowing this fact goes to show how much he truly cares. This does bring a smile to my face.

I viewed it as more pragmatic, in that Bruce knew how/had disarmed failsafe before, so he couldn't be dead on the floor during the small window created by this ploy as he had to disarm it. Still cool of Jason though, especially given everything Bruce had just done to him not 10 issues ago, but I guess they've put that done to Zur meddling and its water under the bridge?

He was also killed by the court of owls and was dead until he had his heart jump started an unknown amount of time later. & He was tortured and killed over a thousand times by emperor Joker. And died again in Death metal. So Batman in modern canon 100% has more experience dying.

The pit completely twists the user's mind though, and it took years of time for Jason to recover (and even then he still has scars from dying and coming back) and not to mention the user becomes more volatile the more they use the pit's restorative power. Compared to all of that, gentle and peaceful death is much a kinder fate.

Jason… how can I explain that he my favorite Bat FAMILY member but not my favorite sidekick/adult that’s go to night wing. Jason never hold back when he fight his family (most times) but when it goes to protecting them he is always rather take the heavy load for himself than giving it to another. Like he die, came back feral, it changed him and he might had to do that all over again but it rather be him than his family, because I’m sure nightwing would had done it too. I don’t always love Jason but I do understand and respect him.

He should have let Bruce die. Bruce needs to understand why sometimes Jason is right about killing psychos. With death and resurrection Bruce would have understood him better and would have learnt something. But now Batman is saved from Failsafe and he still doesn't understand why his code is problematic for Gotham. He even tried to mind control Jason after the Failsafe act just to prevent him from killing criminal. He learnt nothing from the Failsafe problem even when somebody else in the Batman family had to die for him. That's...really annoying. Batman's character, man...🤦🏾‍♂️

On Pride Month!?" Then literally the next day it was leaked he was alive again (really, I went to bed bummed he was dead and woke up to see people saying it was a false alarm). Then there was much relief, even more hands thrown up in exasperation, and some people speculating if his death and subsequent resurrection happening during Pride Month has made him Gay Jesus.

Jason probably didn't want them problems. Probably didn't want the world to have them problems of Bruce "Batman " Wayne experiencing death and overcoming it. Bats knows of his parents dying, his kids dying. Him dying instead of his parents and what it did to them(Flashpoint). Jason came back, (luckily) He knows(now) that he has people that could fix him or put him down if need be. Now let Bruce "Batman" Wayne, Experience Death... he is now empowered by the Lazarus Pit.
