Hey guys! So today I’m bringing you a slightly different video than my usual content update or analysis video. This video is my top 5 personal moments in the Danganronpa series that I found to be the most f*cked up, at least during my 1st playthrough of the game. This is the first time I’ve ever attempted to do a video like this, so I hope you enjoy it and feel free to leave your own top 5 list in the comment section!

*SPOILER* To me, Danganronpa Zero is so messed up. Junko killed The only two people she cared for JUST to feel the worst despair ever. She killed Matsuda, the boy she loved, and Mukuro, her sister. And then after she killed Matsuda she stomped on his dead body until it was a bloody, lumpy mess just to feel worse despair! it's so horrifying

I'm not sure if anyone told you this but Mondo's execution was a reference to an old African folk tale about a tiger who ran so fast they melted and turn into butter. It's hinted in the game, if you notice the spinning Tiger heads during his execution. This folk tale was strangely popular once in Japan but not so much in other western countries. So yeah, Mondo's execution was fucked up, he died by being melted into butter.

+Rei❖Microwave What's even more messed up is the fact that this is actually plausible. Like, if a human body is subjected to enough g-force it actually will liquify, which is what I assume happened to Mondo. Although, the consistency would actually be more similar to that of salsa than butter.

For me, the most fucked up moment in Danganronpa history is Ishimaru's death- no, not his death.. but his history! I mean look at him! His family was a jumble of mess because of his grandfather and Ishimaru dedicated himself to academics and school stuff that it went to the point that it sank down to him and became the way he is! It was only until he went in to that sick and twisted academy: Hope's Peak, when he finally got friends! Mondo and Chihiro! Could you see the look of terror he had when Mondo killed Chihiro? Best friend killing his own best friend? He even refused to believe that Mondo was the killer! That trial broke Ishimaru. (That part broke me too, I had to cry before I could continue playing) And that's where the "reborn" Ishimaru had come to picture, he became let's see uhh... a bit insane. He was just so traumatized he became that way and you know what? He was fockin' betrayed and he wounded up getting killed. The poor boy only wanted to have friends, and he did get to smile. But because of Monokuma's twisted game, everything was taken away from him in just a snap of a finger. He had what he wanted and it was just so simple; he wanted friends, best friends, but Monokuma was like 'nope, your happy fun time has faded,' and it all went down. That's the most MESSED UP thing I've ever witnessed in Danganronpa history and it drove me crying.

I go with this list, between Nagito trying to kill all but the traitor and the digital world info it was clear to see they were dispair, maybe it was a bit shocking what they did but it wasn't a surprise what they were. But it makes replay so fun because you see how everybody was messed up from the beggining (except Hinata that was a no one, Chiaki that was death beforehand and Mahiru but she had the Twilight Syndrome episode).

Top 5 messed up moments- 5. Kuzuryuu splitting his stomach. Seriously what the heck happened in this scene? I literally had to pause the game and started crying uncontrollaby. That was just screwed. 4. The fifth class trial of Super Dangan Ronpa 2. Seriously,I still can't understand what the hell happened here. If Nagito actually didn't say anything,his plan probably would have worked. He set up Chiaki to kill him. It was just really messed up. 3. That minigame from Dangan Ronpa Another Episode. You know what I'm talking about. I'm not spelling it out for you. This scene will forever stick to my mind and cause major cringe. 2. The Warriors of Hope. More or so,their backstories. In the beginning of the game,you can tell they had some pretty messed times in there life. But seriously,who exactly was expecting all of that? Nagisa and Kotoko definitely had it worse. From Nagisa being treated as a lab experiment to Kotoko being sold to have sex for money. If you read the last of the Warriors of Hope parents memiors,their ideas were just messed up. Masaru dad literally beat him if he didn't come home with beer though he couldn't even buy it because he was a minor. Jataro's parents literally say he was a mistake and they wish he never been born. Kotoko's dad says he did it for the love of his daughter. I,personally,believed all the money his daughter was making was what he loved. Nagisa's parents are just messed up thinking this was just a massive video game. Although Monaca's past wasn't as bad,it was still terrible. The Warriors of Hope are some messed up characters. 1. The reveal of the remnants of despair. I definitely didn't see that coming. Especially what they were doing to themselves. It was very sad to see the characters we grown to love actually set the thing that trapped them in the killing game in the first place. The whole thing was just messed up. honorable mention-Oowada's execution. He was turned into butter. That's all I need to say.

I never thought about Togami messing up the crime scene, now I can see why that's f**ked up. Almost all these moments would be on my list, along with the moment in the first game where Junko was revealed to be the mastermind and the truth of the Tragedy was revealed. Seriously it pretty f**king crazy to picture a teenage fashion model bringing about the collapse of civilization because she gets turn on by despair.

One of the most, er, messed up moments to me was Sakura's trial in general. I mean, Asahina was so upset with everyone that she was gonna have them murdered. Herself included. Which was what really screwed me up. Another one was Kyouko's past. Her mother dying, and her grandfather, I think, telling her that her job was more important than family, or something along those lines... Danganronpa has a way of making such sickening and upsetting moments that really hit the people who play it hard.

I think the main thing in the games that really messed me up was the fact that in the 5th class trial in the second game when you have to accuse Chiaki Hajime didnt say "You're the only one!" Danganronpa 3, on the other hand, could have a top 5 list all on its own.

Hey guys about Mondo Owada's death... the execution is a reference to a children's story that is very popular in Japan, "Little Black Sambo" by Scottish author Helen Bannerman. The story tells of a poor boy, who would have defeated two tigers by tricking them into running around a tree so fast that they would have turned into butter which he and his family would have then used to make pancakes. The tiger design on the motorcycle used in the execution, as well as the two bobbing tiger panels placed on both sides of the death cage, are references to this story

I found out some time ago that in the original Japanese version, the person who tried to "make kids with junko" was actually someone that transplanted junko's uterus to her body so she can have junko's baby, not a man who fucked junko's corpse... so maybe it's kinda lost in translations?? And my guess that person is Mikan... Maybe?

I will confess, I don't have a Vita, but I fell in love with Danganronpa from watching other people playing it! It's easily my favourite franchise for anything related to anime. I will say, my list is kinda different from everyone elses. I suppose I'm trying to be a hipster. As for my top 5... Hmmm.. I would say my most fucked up moments are: 5. Celeste's manipulative actions towards a double murder in DR1 Chapter 3. The way she lied to Hifumi had me wide eyed at how low she was willing to go to get out of there. Using Alter Ego like a captive, making up lies about Taka abusing her and blackmailing her with pictures from his room. It made Celeste seem so much darker compared to everyone else. I will admit, Togami's crime scene edit was definitely close to five. I do agree it was messed up that he did that, but I felt that Celeste's manipulative actions were quite messed up in it's own way. 4. Teruteru screaming for his mother before his execution. I don't really like Teruteru all that much, but damn... that cut deep. Worrying about your parents is something I know all too well, and seeing someone denied the truth of what happened to their mother sounds harrowing to me. His scream before he was dragged away. Yeesh. 3. Akane Owari's freetime moments, learning her backstory. This one might be a surprise to a lot of people, but let me explain. Akane's backstory did a total one-eighty on my entire opinion of her. Before, I thought she was just a generic big boobed schoolgirl that was there as the sex appeal of the group. But then when you hear her explain her backstory, and how she is so conflicted with trying not to show weakness, coupled by how she was raised and treated in such a poor area where she's used to seeing dead bodies and having guys grope her and having to run away from them that often, I almost became angry that such a rich and emotional backstory wasn't pushed forward, and I began to like Akane a lot more, her appearance and design made so much more sense. Akane isn't everyone's favourite, but for me this genuinely shocked me that they gave that much story for her. 2. Remnants of Despair, as you mentioned in the video, this is definitely a shocking truth found out in the game, but for me, it's not number one simply because the only thing we saw was Nagito's Junko-fied hand. I felt like this would of number one easily if they were shown recordings of what they did. I wouldn't be surprised if that eye transplant was Fuyuhiko's part in the story. 1. First discovering the tragedy in the final chapter of DR1. Pretty self-explanatory. Finding out the world is getting destroyed and how Junko turned all the ultimate's protection into an inescapable cage was so twisted and messed up, that I was shocked to find out the truth myself. This was close with the remnants, but it was my gut instinct telling me that this was the better choice for number one.

Hmmm, my Top 5 moments would be this- 1. 6th Trial from 1st game. That whole thing just mind blown me because I was not expecting it. 2. Kuwata's Execution. Even though it was the 2nd execution, it shocked me the most. 3. Finding out Hajime's True Identy- You're #1 pick was certainly a mind fuck, but I had already pieced that together before the actual reveal. Not learning that you're main protagonist is the actual mastermind was CRAZY though. 4. Monaca's Master plan- Learning Monaca's role in the whole plot and her plan to cause more Despair really is screwed up. 5. Virtual Reality- Learning that the whole game of Goodbye Despair was fake really was unreal. It also made me wonder what else this game could do to screw with my head lol.
