I would have walked away when they did that switch under the overpass, what ya'll need with me, just go, I'll bail you out, get outta here, no sense in all of us getting taken out. If that cop that first caught up with the Mercedes would have stopped for me it might have given my crew enough separation to get away clean. Doubtful, but there wasn't any reason that all 4 benefit from staying in the car. It seems like the best way to beat these chases is to head for DTLA. The helicopters can't maneuver fast enough to stay with the cars under all those bridges and the cops seem to back off the pursuit. Maybe they only back off the traffic stop chases but go all out in these home invasion GTA type pursuits cause the cops were all over these guys. I just seen one 2 days ago, the driver disappeared under a bridge, never came out the other side. The choppers gave up and the fuzz didn't even swarm the last position he was at.

The usa has a god like justice system compared to where I live. Pedos get 6 months for their first offense and half that most of the time for good behavior but if you smoke a joint you can be charged with a dui with in 2 hours of driving..90 days in jail for first time... so legit just being home smoking weed where its legal a hour and a half after getting home from work will get you the same punishment as diddling. Most of the time they won't give out a dui for that but in a case of a buddy of mine his gf was mad at him and called the cops on him and they had no choice but to give him the same amount of time as a first time pedo lol gotta love who ever came up with that law.

If it was a coordinated switch they did it all wrong. They could have driven away normally, not speeding and being obvious. The cops would have seen the car stopped and they would have stopped behind it. By the time they realized the car was empty they would have been gone already

I think we have reached the point where we need Mad Max style vehicles & tactics. If you run, you die. A less drastic idea would be to have NASCAR style status lights everywhere. Green means go, yellow means everyone slows to 20 MPH and no passing, and red means stop immediately wherever you are.
