God bless you bro; I lived on the Fairhill st right around the corner from where this video ends at 5th and Glenwood for about 20 years . Knew of Nam who went to the same high-school as I did, I remember the day I played basketball with him in a 2 on 2 right outside the rec on 5th Cornwall when they had 4 courts outside at the time; one of the most competitive games I ever played. 🙏 I see these videos, and I'm instantly taken to a place of reminiscing. It's a blessing to be able to remember, to remember the past, to keep in heart the people that lived in these areas, an opportunity to pray for all of those people, and all those who are no longer with us may Jesus bless their souls. 🙏

Once I walked through the 2nd & Allegheny intersection and saw a car outside of Freddy & Tony's with Bullet holes all along the side of the car.

I grew up around 2nd & Allegheny. I got out long ago. There were drugs all around us. They were up the street, down the street and in the middle of our block.

@TOON2152 жыл бұрын
Yes... they are awesome. There's a handful in Philadelphia but they are grade queens. Many dont sleep on the street anymore. I regret getting rid of the one I learned how to drive stick in as a kid. They are hard to get for cheap now a days. $7000 and up for a clean one. lol

Any chance we can get a Trenton NJ drive I'd be happy to point you to areas of "activity"
@TOON2152 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting. I don’t really have interest in NJ. I have documented Camden, Patterson, and I’ve shot music videos in Trenton. But I don’t have the real desire to document it because it holds no value to my heart. However if you become a member of the channel, level 3 members get to make a suggestion of what Philadelphia hood I should do next. And I will do it. That only applied for Philadelphia, but I may consider Trenton if you become a level 3 member, if not no worries. You can always continue watching the free programming, thank you happy holidays

Toon, my Thanksgiving was EXCELLENT this year, as me and my sizably large family went to Pigeon Forge and stayed in a large rental cabin which was VERY NICE. It featured a game room, movie theater and indoor swimming pool.

you should start filming 360 tours, this would be a reason for me, to get a VR headset! VR philly tours
@TOON2152 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your comment. A new 360 tour airs once a week for level 2 or greater members. Please consider joining the membership program next to the subscribe button. You can cancel at any time. I have over 30+ free 360s on my page. Since I got back to Philly I shot 2-3 of those for free for the general subscribers but most don’t like the experience and it reflects on the views. 360 videos take a lot of post production. Hour or 2 to convert the clips from the cam to the app, hour or so to convert from the app to the device. Half an hour to transfer from device to laptop. Then transfer it into editing software. Then splice it all together. Then another hour for export. Then another hour or 2 to upload to KZbin. After KZbin receives it takes their platform 24-48 hours for the 360 feature to be available. So it’s a very time consuming process. That’s why I don’t mind doing it for the members 😉. Have a great day thanks for stopping by
