I did the same as eddy. It's also possible to plant 12 trees, 2 per type. Although the quality/premium sprinklers get a bit in the way of their growth. So they need to be placed after the trees are fully grown.

With my most recent farm, I set myself into a challenge: complete the greenhouse without "farming" any products that take an extended period of time to start up. Which essentially broke down to no animals (since they take a few weeks to grow up) and no fruit trees (which take a month to grow before producing). This essentially meant that I was really at the mercy of the game's randomizer, since the artisan and animal products I needed would all need to come from the travelling merchant or the bat cave. It took nearly 5 years to accomplish, two of which were spent waiting for the randomizer to produce....wouldn't you believe....an apple. One, single apple. Something that could be produced by both the fruit bats and the cart, and it took me two years to finally get the last one. Regardless, this was actually a pretty fun challenge, if someone else wants to give it a go :) And now I'm off to see if I can sell my soul to Joja right after dropping off that last apple~

with the ancient fruit wine, you can just throw every 8th harvest in casks to maximize profit. 1 harvest per week, wine takes a full 2 months (8 weeks) to reach max value in the casks.

DF you forgot to mention hops. They are way more work, so I see why you don't want to do them, but if you plant 76 of them in the greenhouse (leaving room to walk between double rows) you can make $159,600/wk in Pale Ale. Plus then you still have the walkways (40 spaces) to fill with whatever you want. So that's actually the highest/fastest moneymaker in the game.

Another sweet thing about hops in general: Look at the "cost" to "energy gained when eaten" ratio. It's through the roof! Hops grows every single day and is probably the cheapest way to regain energy. You can stockpile the stuff and just have insane amounts of health and energy for cheap.

@@andrehashimoto8056 - I don't go to the mines daily. 😂 I do a few runs so I can get down there and get ore. You get lots of stuff out of geodes and from enemies early on. I also get stuff by digging up the dig spots while foraging and clearing land. Fifteen items goes fast for me. I've always gotten starfruit seed from that method long before getting it from the cart. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We weren't even talking about ancient fruit, but I do tend to mostly get that in the mines too. I kill a lot of bugs while getting ore because I love getting the insect head sword. That thing rocks!

Fill the greenhouse with as many hops as you can still reach, then fill the rest with ancient fruit. You'll need a lot of kegs to produce the pale ale and ancient fruit wine, but its the most profitable way to utilize the vanilla greenhouse. If youre gonna use casks, use them for the ancient fruit wine.

After 1 year of harvests, The Starfruit will be about 800k, the Ancient fruit will be about 970k, and the Sweet Gems will be about 1.6mil that is, of course, assuming you have all the seeds you need to begin with. If you have to make or buy the seeds, the Starfruit and Sweet Gem get cut in half. Also, if you start with one ancient seed, it will take you on average 3 and a half months to get everything filled if you start with one seed and put all of your fruit in the seed maker until it's full. The math on that was a son of a bitch to do in my head, and I regret doing it.

Blueberries are actually more valuable since it's 150g vs 120g for strawberries and if you put this stuff in vats, you get +50g three times instead of once. Strawberries are better if you have kegs, though, since it only takes one keg to triple value.

I was near the end of my third year and I still hadn’t encountered a single ancient seed, so I bought a bunch of wheat (cause it takes only 4 days to grow and I can feed my animals the hay) and turned all of it into seeds. There’s a chance of getting an ancient seed from this. I got an ancient seed pack on the first round of turning wheat into seeds. I kept doing that until I had enough ancient fruit to turn into seeds. Highly recommend if you can’t seem to find an ancient seed. Although this was you cannot donate it until you find the artifact

Big tip for anyone who just wants money you can use ancient fruit and the highest level water fertiliser so you don't have to use sprinklers (if you use kegs they aren't affected by quality and only affect the initial growth time) so you can empty the kegs and harvest them on the same day. You only need to check every seven days since the ancient fruit doesn't ever need to be replanted in the greenhouse

What you would make in profit of the crops in this video Starfruit: 103,918-(400x116)=57,518 Sweet Gem Berry(rare seed): 399,750. Or if you wanted more sweet gem berries you would only make half of the money (199,875) Ancient Fruit: 81,316. But they reproduce every week so in 1 season in game you wold make 325,264 Edit: for the Ancient Fruit wine you will make 765,600 gold every month so in a year you would make 3,062,400 gold (not including ageing the wine) Thank you calculator you did very good work XD!! :D

For sweet gem berries, the best way I've found is to sell the gold ones (silver too if you have a good amount,) and then use the plain quality ones for the multiplier. That way you get big profit

you forgot strawberries. if your growing crops you should have the seed maker recipe before the first year is up. Which means you can fill your green house up for free and Strawberries have about the same gold per day value and produce every 4 days like Blueberries. Although you will make a little more money with Blueberries depending on RNG.

Also never use cask. Better profits just filling the basement with kegs and selling at base value. Each cask will age 2 wine each year for a total basement profit of 1,155,000 gold per year. However Kegs in the basement will give 16 wine per keg for a total yearly profit of 4,620,000 if you just sell the wine as you make it each years. Assuming Artisan Bonus from talent.

Hey, don't overlook Hops! They go great in a greenhouse because they produce every single day, and when made into Pale Ale are worth 300 gold each. EVERY DAY. It's a lot more work than the weekly ancient fruit, but it's probably the highest moneymaker in the game.

Right. So you leave rows between, which you can fill with strawberries or whatever you like. But from the 76 hops you can grow, making each into a 300g Pale Ale per day, that's 159,600 gold per week. Not including the strawberries or whatever. So it is definitely the highest moneymaker, if you don't mind the work of daily harvesting/kegs.

Not necessarily; starfruit with deluxe speed-gro is better (if you can afford it). It'll get you 116 starfruit every nine days (eight with the agriculturist profession); quality doesn't matter, we're gonna turn them into wine anyways. Fill your quarry with as many kegs as possible (honestly the best use for that thing). With the layout I used I can fit roughly ~375 kegs in that space. No need to waste the precious space on your farm for that. Seven days later, they're finished. One bottle of starfruit wine is worth 2250 gold, +40% if you've got the artisan profession, making it worth 3150g per bottle. Multiply that by 116 for a total of 365400 gold almost every week. And it leaves you with roughly 259 kegs to use for whatever you want. Preferably even more starfruit. (Using Deluxe Speed Gro, you can get a total of 3 harvests each summer, even without the agriculturist profession). Assuming you've planted enough starfruit to fill all these kegs (wich is pretty easy) you earn roughly 1.181.250 gold per harvest. Now multiply that by three. And if you fill the bus stop with kegs (roughly 400) you'll make so much money you don't even know what to do with it anymore. Also, you should definitely use casks, they're absolutely worth it. Just put your first batch of wine in the basement (roughly 125, depending on the layout) and forget about it for two months. This is a mistake that many people make. You can still produce normal wine in that time. _You don't lose any money._ Iridium quality wine is worth 4500g per bottle, again +40% with the artisan profession, meaning that it is worth 6300g. Per bottle. Multiply that by 125 and you're looking at a profit of 787 500g for doing literally nothing. So, to summarize it: -roughly 365400g almost every week in just the greenhouse -Assuming you have filled the quarry with kegs, 1.181.250 per harvest. And if you're using deluxe speed gro, you can multiply that by three for a total of 3.543.750 each summer. And even more if you fill the bus stop with kegs. -787 500g every two seasons for doing literally nothing. Note that you can use all three of these methods simultaneously, if you have enough kegs and casks. So yeah. If you want money, use starfruits lol (sorry for my bad english btw.)

4 quality sprinklers on each side +4 iridium in the middle is a cheaper (and more symmetrical) way of watering

If symmetry matters to you, okay. But 6 iridium sprinklers might be better for someone trying to maximize their spaces to place kegs or something. Every spot counts when space is limited.

after you hit 80 - 90 in mines gold ore are even worthless than the furnaces and time goes to smelt them. I have like 100 ores but super lazy to smelt all but sometimes i smelt them

The purple pig ladies is the _only_ way you get those rare seeds, and she usually only sell one a week. Sometimes she sells up to 5, but that's it. Sometimes.

Tbh I find the artisan easier, since all you really need to do is choose fruit bats, get a bee hive and make some jam, you’ll finish it sooner rather than later. Whereas the animals require what is needed to have animals, recourses and money! Which I was planning on getting in abundance with the greenhouse

Starfruit wine gets you the most gold per day per cask, as you might guess. With the Artisan perk, it makes ~56g a day. At base price, it's 40g a day. (Note -- this does not count growing time, only casking time.) Cheese is an interesting case. It doesn't add much value, but iridium quality cheese gives 325 energy and 146 health. Then again, you can swap an iridium goat's cheese for an Energy Tonic that gives 500 energy and 225 health and still have 50g left over, so maybe the restorative property isn't a big deal. Aaaaand, you can swap a 130/58 starfruit wine for 6 Energy Tonics (3000/1350!) and have 500g in your pocket at the end. Stupid OP Starfruit. Base prices, base crop quality value added per day in cask: Starfruit wine: ~40g Ancient fruit wine: ~29g Goat cheese: ~27g Cow cheese: ~14g Melon wine: ~13g Rhubarb wine: ~12g Pale Ale: ~9g Crystal fruit wine: ~8g Peach and pomegranate wine: 7.5g Beer: ~7g Mead: ~7g All other wines: less than that Salmonberry wine: 0.27g :p There's also the option of abandoning casks in favour of shoving the cellar full of kegs or jars. A keg of starfruit increases in value by 214g a day, and a preserves jar of starfruit about 336g a day. Even a jar of salmonberries gets you about 23g a day. But, the preserves jars have to be attended to every two or three days. A cask of wine needs attention twice a year, so you can save your own RL time by sleeping through the weeks. _That's_ the main value of the casks.

I actually filled up my greenhouse with kegs to the brim. When I put another 6 on the sides of the greenhouse outside, it goes exactly for the 116 crops. I don't need sheds or barns, just abusing the space in the greenhouse. Definitely more worth it than the fruit trees money-wisely and space-wisely aswell.

If you want ancient fruit but can't get the seeds make sure to farm bugs. If you have the mutant bug lair go there everyday and then farm level 11 in the mines repeatedly if not though just farm level 11 in the mines repeatedly. I believe the chance of getting one from a bug is .5% or 1/200. Also check the travelling merchant every Friday and Sunday for them as well.

Ya supporting joja mart is not necessarily the worst if not more morally or soul wise better. If you support community center and close joja mart you put 3 people out of a job to include Shane a recovering alcoholic (if friends) or a current drunk. Pierre doesn't hire any of them except opens a 7th day and doesn't hire any of them except clearly has one of the largest houses so you just let him have a monopoly in town.
