I'm 41 and happily single, and happily celibate. I own the house, the car, and I have 0 debt. What can F*ck up this paradise? A woman.

49 and same. No drama, no forced situations , just me and my dogs. Mostly chilling in my music studio, or playing my guitar enjoying nature around me. (and never had problems meeting or finding a date, but relationship are often taxing and I want to keep my happiness

I can have several friends I talk to without the need of having a partner, if I end up single my whole life I have nothing to do about it.

Exactly Fam. All you can do is control your own actions and nothing else. Continue to Thrive

I'm 39. Single for the last 6 years, I co-own a small but very successful company. I lift weights for the last 10 years, I eat clean, do a lot of cardio outside in warmer months. So I ain't that average late 30s guy with a big belly. I ain't tall in todays world standards (5ft10) and I don't have a problem with that. Some chicks wanted to hook up in the last 6 years, but I soon found out we weren't connected on a deeper level. To tell you the truth, I don't even miss having a partner. My hobbies keep me happy and occupied and my business keeps me financialy in a very safe place, so why bother with that.

There is no need for socialisation if you work, going to make haircut or going to gym. Everywere you can show your attitude and have a small talk. Be yourself. Connect with only people you want. You have absolute self completeness.

I'm in my early 50s. I've been overweight my entire life. When all the people in your life, especially when you were a child, close all the doors, completely ignore you, beat you on a daily basis because you dared to talk back or stick up for yourself, then you don't get to complain when that kid grows up, discards society, discards love, and will violently defend yourself. Those like me chose something other than humans to hang around with. The choices have been made and there's no going back.

The innate & subconscious distrust of socially awkward guys has been around even in the 90s and likely before. There are some things that are out of our control like winning the genetic serotonin lottery or having traumatic experiences in your youth that were out of your control that led to socialization issues. The best thing anyone can do suffering from it is just having awareness and working on it daily with actionable steps like exposure therapy (like mentioned in the video) or building confidence through other, ideally social, activities.

You’re 💯 correct. It’s situations such as these that has to be considered. I’m glad you’ve highlighted this point. Respect for adding value and I’m thrilled that you resonated with this vid Roshea

I've not been in a relationship by choice for 4 years now, and am unlikely to go back. I've no problem socialising with my friends and their gf's down the pub, or convos with holiday guests (at their invitation) around the campfire, or with the regular two person TV filming team who come to record my work, or shoppers in my town who ask about my motorbike, or the ladies serving at the local biker café. Seriously, how much interaction do I need before I retire to the peace of my inner sanctum for the evening? With a woman in tow, the 'tingles' for her always fade no-matter what I do and she'll make my life hell until she finds the next toe curler.

2024: Those who don't need the exp, get ton of it, while those who need the exp, get little to none. Stay alive peeps, it's ok to not have exp. As long you don't knock someone up, you are fine. Get to work and be the change you want to see in this world.

1:40 not accurate, being social is like riding a bike, you could not ride a bike in years and get back on it and be fine. I had an overly social 20s and wasted alot of time partying which then needed to be caught up in my 30s. I partied so much in my twenties I feel like I partied 3 or 4x what an average person does in their lifetime so staying in and catching up with myself in late 30s 40s feels like a balance and financially has served me greatly to stop dating socialising for a while

Good points this just randomly came up on my phone. There's this one girl that I've been friends with for a while now I've met her while I was working. She said she'd never had a boyfriend before and while I met her. I was already dating or about to get married to my fiancé long story short she always flirts with me all the time. And every time when I was with her she'll be giving me hints. Now that I'm single and I'm trying to talk to her while trying to hang out with her. She doesn't want to or always says will see and only hangs when she wants to So I don't know what the problem is if this is part of the case what should i do i caught feelings for her and its hard to meet women nowadays?
@RexDavis4152 ай бұрын
It's a law of attraction. Girls like guys that are desired by other women.
@Jac7352 ай бұрын
@RexDavis415 You know what i'm gonna do I was just thinking that maybe I should just pretend that I have a girl again And just ignore her altogether so that probably she could get some more attention.I don't know, it's just confusing.I don't know why we got to play these guessing games

It's Good to be alone. People need to learn how to move and their own business. As long as folks know how to read, watch other people interact, they will never loose social skills.
