Great review ! I am on their mailing list and they have good deals and sales all the time. The property is very nice, I was in an Alexandria King and it was a beautiful room with amazing decorations. The casino is very nice, and we had a great fish and chips dinner at Chickie and Pete's. The monorail is right out the front door and makes it so convenient and easy to travel around the strip. I love this place and will be back.

Thanks Dani! I personnaly love Sahara, it was the first hotel I stayed at in Vegas so has special memories. That said, it's now a modern hotel with great value pricing, amazing pool, great food options too. The only downside is that it's closing it's poker room and its location right at the top of the strip. If you want value and just visiting Vegas for a weekend it's an amazing option.

Hope you enjoy it! If it's more than one person or one day, check out the rooms a little bigger than the mara king. :) they do have a few options in room sizes. The one we had was maybe the 2nd smallest so watch the room square feet when you book. ;) great hotel when going to the festivals though!

As she stated, the rooms are just "Ok" at the Sahara, also, my room was a bit grimy looking in some areas. Their lounges and casino floor are really nice though. Also the light rail is right there at the Sahara.

Hello congrats on 13yrs! Ive always licked Sahara personally, you can always find good deals and the rooms are clean and safe. The rooms with 2 queens are bigger (at least from seeing your video) may have been 10 dollars more but its been a few years since i stayed there.. the monorail stopping right at the casino also a big plus.. never tried the bagel place you went to but actually looked great.. hope your anniversary went well.. take care! Crash pad is a good way to put it. I was happy it was only one night in that room but I'd stay again and just make sure to get something a little bigger. I think the king room in the Blanca tower are smaller. So I'm glad I didn't go for one of those. haha.

hi !! thanks for the video. i thought sahara renovated all the marra tower rooms. i guess they did not since your room is still an sls room. the wife and i have stayed at sahara 3 years in a row. we always stay in the marra style rooms which are remodeled marra tower rooms and dont look like those lame sls rooms like the one you guys stayed in. the marra style rooms are sooo much better and nicer and new!!! next time you stay at sahara, ask for a marra style room and youll get an awesome renovated room and the bed wont be in the fricken way of the window. its a shame sahara hasnt gotten rid of all those funky rooms... cheers

sooo. i just stayed at a hotel in long beach.. and they want 20$ per hour if you want to check in early. and 20$ an hour for any late checkout.. and check in at 4pm is a scam... the rooms are done pretty much by 1pm. thanks for the content!

Location is rough but you do have the monorail connected. I've always liked Sahara but my stay was subpar. Simply the room, but $50 that's pretty freaking good. And the weird early check in issues but that's never guaranteed. 🤷‍♂️ Id give it another try because I like the price and amenities. I would just upgrade to a bigger room. 😁

Hmm. how you get those rates. Cheapest nightly this year is $68 but the half price $50 resort fee wasn't valid or available unless you took the $200 a night rate.. Plus taxes are around 20 percent. Funny applied AAA 15 percent discount and then saw rates 15 percent higher. Ha hahaha. They do have an insiders club, maybe that is how you get the deals, but the days are limited and seem to be meant for LA people or locals and you get their marketing for life. I would say that Dani knows how to get the best case rates, us humans maybe not. BTW they tax the resort fee at 13 percent so resort fee is 58 per day. hahahahahaha. One more thing is that they put a $100 per day hold on the card for deposit. Anyways I used their calendar to get a room for two days AA rate. calendar said $68 per day. At checkout I get the room for $30 per day however the fees and taxes were $60 per day. They wanted $40 to book.

I just went on their site and found multiple days in December for $34. With the half off promo, the resort fee is $25. So after fees and taxes it says the total for the night is $66.70. You just need to look around 🤷🏼‍♀️. I got it when they had the no resort fee promo making it $25 cheaper. I have an advantage being a local only since it makes me more flexible with dates. Weekdays are much cheaper of course. Hopefully it works out for you!

I agree that room rates can double the price. That's why I wanted to share how I got it for so cheap. However, nothing I said was incorrect. My total with tax was $47 with the no fee promo. I also got the same price in December but cancelled it to do this stay. Right now on their site they are running a half off resort fee promo. 🤷🏼‍♀️ You just have to follow their emails or check the site often.
