Resin Me Up

Resin Me Up

15 күн бұрын

📝TUTORIAL DESCRIPTION:📝
In this video I am trying ‪@daniel..cooper‬ hairspray technique but with a bit of a twist, instead of using it on molds, I am attempting it on metal washers and making jewelry with the pieces. So I begin by cleaning all the pieces with alcohol. then I put some UV resin by Lets Resin in a small cup and mix in three drops of Eye candy black pigment paste. I then cover a washer with the black resin and use my UV flashlight and cure it for 3sec. This leaves the resin partially cured but tacky. I do this with all the pieces. Then I spray the hairspray into a small cup and with a micro brush I draw my design on to each piece with the hairspray. Let that dry for about 15 minutes. Once dry I begin brushing each piece with the Lets Resin Opal chameleon flakes until each piece is completely covered. Then I put all the pieces into the UV lamp for complete curing and then I top coat each piece. I then cure them again. When finished I assemble them into a set of earrings and a necklace.

I love it with the leather the way it is. No ring needed! The earrings look great even if they didn’t turn out quite right! Love the jewelry! I think you should keep doing what you are doing. I am just a beginner but I get so many ideas from you for my some day!
