I’m trying to think realistically what the main fight could be. I first thought of which fighters could be ready in time and aren’t sidelined with injuries. Then I thought if a title will be on the line. Next up could it be a fight that analysts and fans always wondered who would win if they ever met? So I thought maybe George Saint Pierre versus Khabib Nurmagomedov both retired but it would be a hell of a main event. Or maybe Amanda Nunez vs Juliana Pena rubber match. That’s my guess.

Coach Jav of AKA is now back in the states, it was a sudden change of plans for him (wasn't supposed to be coming home yet). IIRC this week he's in Vegas training Umar at the PI and waiting fight announcement about to drop (for Umar accdg to him) as he was notified by UFC itself. Not mentioned who else came with Umar in this trip but we know team eagle always travel as a group. If anyone frm Khabib's team is involved in UFC300, they'd be flying in the states right before Ramadan most likely and spend its duration there in the states (my guess only). Because Khabib's team was always used to going and training in the place where venue of fight was set... they don't fly in days or even a week before the given sched they stay longer to best acclimate. If the rumors of the main event/s involves fight for a belt then I assume they would be as deligent as before or even more so since its ufc300 and more eyes will be drawn to it. If there'll be reports of them Dagestanis attending AKA gym before of during Ramadan then it will bring more weight to rumors of Islam or Khabib participating in ufc300.

For the fans that hate the idea of weight class changes, I got a message for you. First of all it is only one extra belt, one in case you didn’t work that math out. They will add 165 and 175, and 170 goes away. The WW champ chooses which new class to go to, and nothing changes from 185 and beyond, for now. And we only have one additional belt/champion, and last I checked most of the champions are defending only once or twice a year. And most of you seem to hate many of the weak cards (rightfully so), but you have a problem with an extra men’s champ. Think it through, it works. There’s some cons but it works.
