@@Karen-0 That's 'cos Miles is already set up to be some sort of eccentric genius who sends invitation via puzzle boxes, has weekend breaks on his private island and sterilises his visitors via chemical gun. The film plays with your expectations there. Then when we finally meet him, he's a chill hippie. Just these 2 impressions is enough to set off anyone's brain to sub-consciously interpret anything odd he says as unnecessarily strenuous hyperbole

I found Daniel Craig also particularly spell binding in Road to Perdition. Especially so as he had no problems playing the villain who, on top of everything else, was a quintessential coward, flawed to the point of being really kind of a pathetic weakling - and yet he still pulled it off to make the character engrossing and menacing at the same time. "Why are you laughing?!" "Because it is all so fucking hysterical."

One thing that I find funny is that all the actors who played James Bomd, brosnan, Craig... start to dress like him after they leave the role. It would cost you no time, and no money, to put "part 1" or "part 2" on these videos. If I pick the first video of two, it's the second part of the interview. If I pick the second video of two, it's the second part of the interview. Most actors do. Interviews are just one giant promotion for the film where the actor has to travel around the world answering the same questions over and over. Most films are done months or even years in advance so for them they’ve already moved on.

The way he asked "Is someone talking?" after he got a drink makes it look like he prefers a different set of manners from perhaps across the pond. Mr. Craig was answering the questions extensively and Colbert cut him off a few times. Daniel then went back into saying the talking points to promote his movies. Colbert appears to have a jagged edge in the way he interviews which I would find offputting and would get mad if I was the one being asked the questions but the audience eats it up.

I think it's so cool to use a Massive Attack song as the entrance song.

Thanks! I was just trying to figure out what the tune was. Wonder why they chose this 🤔

@@MikeStJean yes, it's super random and a really weird choice, but i dig it. Saturday comes slow is a banger, tho.

Daniel Craig looks so hyper, squirmy and nervous. He might have actually climbed the wall if his pants weren't so tight.

Nothing against Mr. Craig or Mr. Ford, but I would add Keanu Reeves for the Matrix and John Wick franchises.

Just watched Mr. Craig in a ww2 movie in which he leave Rome just before WW2 gets going. He joined a local provincial army brigade and had an amusing time of it as early middle aged man in love with his ex-wife. She is very generous with her cuddles to various men. A Brit version of Your in The Army now. Very versitlie actor
