I don't think people are frustrated with Logan Paul just for having an opinion. I think it's more that he's said he doesn't understand Nope (a movie that centres around themes relating to spectacle and the exploitation/commercialisation of tragic events)... yet Logan Paul is best known for filming the dead body of a man who died by suic*de while laughing and posting it online for views. The irony is just mind boggling.

Logan Paul’s review of Nope could be condensed into one sentence. “Movie bad because it confused me.” Like literally if you read his review most of his complaints are that the movie is confusing and he couldn’t figure out how it all tied together which is hilarious to me because the movie is literally about people like him and it went right over his head. If that’s not the definition of irony then I don’t know what is.

It's about many things. But FFS, the very start of the film has a quote about a spectacle. They kept saying "spectacle" throughout the entire film. It was very obvious. While it is multi-layered over all, the main theme of a spectacle was clear. Not everyone has to be spoon-fed explanations before they get it, especially if you have media literacy/understand film language.

I think the idea of "stay in your lane" and that ideology, is a dreadful one- don't box people in, no matter the circumstances, so many people would be very VERY unsuccessful if they "stayed in their lane" instead of branching out, voicing opinions/or trying new things, I also think when/where you can you should sit down with people that disagree with you, obviously I don't think they should over a movie review but I think promoting a perspective of not sitting down with someone who disagrees with you is a harmful one- completely irrelevant to the review, I just thought it was an odd response. If people don't like your work that's fine, people wont, people also wont get it or understand it, some people will and that's all that matters.

Tbf to Logan, he himself said his opinion doesn't matter, it's just an opinion. The reason why his opinion has gained traction, is simply due to the people getting triggered over it.

Logan is confused because the film is to intellectually deep for him to decipher, maybe logan should consider indulging in some literature aka a book or enrolling in an online course that'll help him expand his mind and increase his knowledge. Then again no one cares what Logan thinks. 🤣 Daniel Kaluuya keep shining and keep breaking barriers in the entertainment industry. London is always proud of you 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

True, but others can say, why the unnecessary comments. He can say he didn’t like it and why but to go on and on about it as of his take is the be all end all. Especially with a film with such talent, like maybe it’s just not for him or beyond his realm of understanding.

I understand why a lot of people disliked Nope. It felt like Jordan Peele wrote a bunch of memorable horror scenes based on important themes, and then wrote a movie around it. Characters felt like they existed simply for metaphors. Still an enjoyable horror film though

hosts didn’t even understand that he was telling them that why tf they would bring up Logan Paul when the hosts should know that he doesn’t regardless of who he is and he’s entitled to an opinion but for the hosts to bring it up during the interview only means one thing, that the hosts are using it to creat drama and now it’s “_____ reacts to what Logan Paul said about movie Nope”. It’s an entire media BS thing. Like “really?? You bring THAT up?”
