Which how he was he was the one that delivered the newspaper to Daniel at the end of season 2 with the real script papers inside for the whole Trial. The vampire Sam at the Theater was also an agent which is how the Talamasca had it. Reglan James.... if you remember he makes that odd statement to Daniel 'if could switch bodies with you, I am sure I would be running the order by now'...lol. I'm not a 100% sure, as I've read just a few books, but I've heard Daniel break the Armand/Marius "torturer and prey" dynamic. Which makes sense, having in mind Daniel is the only character with a post-modern sense of love.
