Lots of folding equity when villain squeezes from the BB.. especially after hearing his previous squeeze
@stehoz87Ай бұрын
@@paulbuckley8382 considering fold equity there is dumb, the value of the equity hardly touches icm, crushed vs AK and TT+ and dude is not bluffing with the action, dnegs just had some bs narrative thought about KQ in one hand earlier and thought his 99 was good.

@stehoz87Ай бұрын
@@tejeda7324 his 15bb plus dead money will not translate proportionally to icm, this is why a coin toss is generally -ev especially when your are covered by your opponent. Tournaments are about survival and at 60bb it is not worth the opportunity cost to be pushing imaginary fold equity. Plus it is completely subjective that there is fold equity and one should assume there is none given the action.

Didn't 3! 99 in the CO, then backraised a BB squeeze over four people. Every clip i see of dnegs is just him making some egregious mistake, then being purely results oriented in his analysis of his play.
@Bigmoneymak3rАй бұрын
I agree with you that daniel is a fish but if you are so smart you would also know that 99 is nearly a pure flat co vs lj. Also shoving vs Bb is not a bad idea vs certain villains but 99 might not the best hand to do it as it blocks some bluff squeezes
@RileyLogan-i4tАй бұрын
@@Bigmoneymak3r its a flat if people are playing gto preflop. In a game where people over call like crazy (which this game clearly is) and won't blow you off your equity by 4 betting even close to optimally, i think it'd be more profitable to 3! pure here.
@Bigmoneymak3rАй бұрын
@@RileyLogan-i4t umm its not a game where you will get "overcalled like crazy" though? Its 5k online with at least two regs sitting behind you. I can see arguments for a 3bet to isolate a fish (probably the only player worse than daniel) but calling here is definitely not a mistake. You can even flat JJ here this depth. Also if you think its a fishy game then you can argue for flat to lower variance.
@RileyLogan-i4tАй бұрын
@Bigmoneymak3r there were 3 flats before bb squeezed (and Daniel made a comment that he'd done this before), so at the very least, sb is overcalling. Also, 99 is 3! more than it's called co vs lj in theory.
@Bigmoneymak3rАй бұрын
@@RileyLogan-i4t well yeah lets not be results oriented here, the fact that everyone flatted here doesnt mean they will do it in the long run. Maybe they all had proper hands to do it. As i said, if you have 2 regs after you then I wouldnt expect them to overcall too much in the long run. Also there wont be a chart, where 99 are 3betting more than 50% of the time on this depth. This happens probably when less than 25% of the field is left, which is not the case here.
