Don’t make it hard on yourself. If you’re prepared to call the turn, be prepared to call the river. Double and triple barrels are the norm, get use to the pressure

Weird overbet bluff by Daniel. He's representing a full house on the river with the overbet but if he had a set or two pair on the turn he would probably check the turn with 4 spades on board. Hultman should have probably called as Daniel's line doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If Daniel actually had the Q or K of spades he would not over bet the river and would probably use a smaller size like 3/4 pot.

he’s not repping a full house he’s repping the king of spades cuz if he had a set or two pair on the flop and the 4th spade comes in he’s most likely checking all his sets or two pairs.

Should be a call. Daniel Is not betting a set or two pair into two people on that turn. So when he over bet Bluffs at River he’s saying he has a full house which he never does. Unless he would take that line with K of spades and reading opponent doesn’t have full house but then he’d be pushing out hands he wants calls from.

It makes no sense for a one-card flush to bet that much on a paired board, even if it is a nut flush. But his line on the turn doesn't make much sense for a set or two pair either. The story he is trying to tell doesn't really make sense, and that often means it is a bluff, which is exactly what it was.

This hand feels surprising from both sides to me. Interested what others think and why I am potentially wrong. Pre-flop feels slightly loose from both, but given rake is prob low/non-existent, fine I guess. What is Daniel representing on river? Can't think of FHs that play this way. Kim can have some (partials) of FHs, depending on range construction pre and post. If Kim is folding Jh Flush here is Kh flush from Negreanu even a value bet based on FH potential of Kim? And from Kim's perspective, do we have enough FH and Qx combos to fold this? I wonder if Daniel expected Kim to fold this. And if Daniel intended to stay balanced here what his value range looks like. Very interesting hand.

To all the comment section professionals, Daniel can definitely take this same exact line with the K of spades. If you don’t believe your opponent has a boat, then you can choose a large bet size on the river for value. You don’t always have to tread lightly and be scared of the board pairing. Daniel went with his read, and put his opponent on a flush. This over bet won’t always work, but sometimes you gotta go with your gut feeling and pull the trigger. K of spades will check river some of the times, bet more often. The large over bet sizing is used very infrequently for this particular spot.

Tough one that as the way Daniel played it, he repped 2 pair or flush draw from the flop, then made flush after the turn then possible full house after the river! Hultman had a great hand but knew there were a few potential hands that beat him still. Should have been brave and raised the turn to see what Daniel would do but that is easy to say in hindsight and when you can see the hole cards!

Always easier to read in hindsight. But if he did have a king or queen spade flush wouldnt 5500 on the turn be kind of a high bet? And when the board paired if he did have the flush wouldnt he be scared of the other guy filling up.on the river? But he made an overbet. Both those bets are fishy and if you compare them there is a weakness on those bets. He did both bets like he had the nuts. Betting the 1 card flush then betting the fulll house. He repped them both. It was odd no doubt when u think it through
