Wow, am I dreaming? It's such a long-awaited album from Daniel Rossen! I'm in absolute awe because of this beautiful artwork. From the first track, Rossen's music is a perfect antidote to the mediocre daily routines.

What a masterful musician and song-writer. The colour and emotion it brings to my life is truly extraordinary. Always using his work (whether from Grizzly Bear or self-titled work) as inspiration for my own music - afraid I'll never reach his great heights and thats alright. Never stop please

Been a fan of Grizzly Bear and DOE for a while. Hadn’t gotten around to this one yet… but it came on right as I was heading to dream land with headphones on… and dang the dreams were vivid and intense as heck. I’m glad I woke up half way through so I could see what album was playing. Otherwise, it could have just kept rolling on to something else and I may have forgotten about it. Absolutely phenomenal album. I love the repeating motifs in unpeopled space / Celia. And I’ll Wait For Your Visit really resonated to some things going on in life. Thank you, Daniel :)

great to hear timeless, emotionally courageous and steadfastly unique album... for some reason I hear the slightest echoes of Nick Drake, and the jazz of Robert Wyatt's early solo albums, both of which are exalted company for any artist to keep.

A masterpiece from Daniel Rossen. I resonate so much with the emotional narrative of this album, and I have a tendency to project myself into the music I enjoy. For this reason, I was hoping that the album would end on a more hopeful note. I hope Daniel is well, and that we all find some sort of peace.

Considering what was said in the review the score seemed extremely arbitrary; but it’s been a awhile since I’ve read one of their reviews so maybe that’s their style or something. Weird

Never believe reviews music is dimensional always listen for your self the music is amazing find out for yourself :)
@c.nelson37472 жыл бұрын
@@loganlowe3731 Pitchfork is bizarre, I've heard that they make their reviews by having one group of people pick a score and a separate person writing the actual review, so there's constantly this weird divide between what gets written and what the actual score is, which is dumb.
