I've been dealing with unemployment during the pandemic, unhealthy coping mechanism, social isolation and possible loss of home. This talk helps me to understand an underlying dynamic on why things are not working out for us right now. The pandemic really opened up a possibility to see the direct connections between us and how an injury to one is an injury to all. My depression still feels overwhelming but somehow seeing someone live this way and give his perspective with integrity is healing to me.

We are all born into this world naked, with nothing but our bodies. From there, all that we have is given to us by the earth.

Having studied the illusion of money, many of the ancient religions and cultures and having quit money close to five years ago, this resonates with me on many levels. Thank you, Brother, for sharing your insights into this "mass mental lillness". Peace and Agape

I have often said we are living in a feudalism in the US. We are all serfs...working to hopefully own a little piece of land.

And that ownership is vanity. If you don't pay your taxes who owns it?

One Bible story I thought of a lot during your talk was of prodigal son. His dad gave to the son who had 'done nothing' while his other son, who had 'done the work' and 'expected' to be rewarded got pissed off and said: "Why is he being given to, he was a 'lazy ass party boy?!." (My shorted version!) It reminds me of what you said: The sun doesn't give just to the 'righteous' and the rain falls on everyone. The other story that relates to this is Job. .Job did all the 'right things' but got 'plagued' with all sorts of troubles and people thus presumed 'oh he must have done something' 'WRONG" and is being 'PUNISHED' for his sins. In reality, he was being tested for his faith. There is a lot to this story. If you're doing 'good works' for a 'result' such as status/being in good standing and doing so with this expectation, this is immature belief. A deep faith is an acceptance of life as it is, whether you have severe challenges and trials or given 'rewards' for your efforts. The same philosophy exists today. Some people believe that if you are a 'good person' you will have material wealth, and if you are financially poor, homeless or are not generating money that you are automatically 'unworthy' a 'sinner,' lazy or 'unfit' and 'undeserving.' I was thinking how 'the principle of 'entrophy can be equated with the current economic system predominating in our world today based on a 'debt' economy. Entrophy is an accelerating loss of order where decline and collapse inevitably results! Entrophy exists in a 'closed' thermodynamic system, rather than an 'open' system. Thomas Berry who called himself a 'geologian' once told me that "in nature "everything is always sacrificing for everything else." " The universe is fundamentally sacrificial!" I really like that and this is so true. In this sense, Christ is symbolic of the essential nature of the universe! By the way, human DNA is only about 10% of our genome. The Human Biome project revealed that yeasts, fungi and bacteria living symbiotically as a 'part' of 'us' are actually are about 90% of our DNA! I

Your insights are good, Melissa. Yeah, all things must balance out, including overpopulation & over-use. And I like the prodigal son observation. It's the same principle in the other parable about the hired workers in the field.

So glad you are back Daniel. I have missed your blogs. Thank-you for sharing your insights and blossoms. Though I don't agree with all you say, I find your perspective and experiences and research, very thought provoking. :) If for no other reason, I hope people will hear you and just stop to think a little.

Daniel Suelo do you know that we breath in oxygen given by plants and in return we give them co2(carbon dioxide) which they need as we breath out? This seems like a good example but I never see you use this in your speeches. :)

It's strange. I completely "get all of this" "but" if everyone was like Daniel ... A gadzillion things would NOT exist. Deep i know...
@silaswild6233 Жыл бұрын
Of course they would, money isn't a cup of coffee, an apple, a bag of rice, these things would still exist without money. Money is abstract, it exists virtually. Money is just a form of currency to swap for resources, if you have a billion pounds in the bank and want a luxury yacht and there aren't the resources left to build it, the 'money' is no good

I am more intrigued by the MESSENGER, as oppose to the MESSAGE. This is a very virtuous human being, with a nature so gentle, intelligent, compassionate, humble, creative, bold and pure! Well my description of him are just words, and just don't give justice to this soul! Although my ever developing values, philosophy, and perceptions on life is quite of a unique and different nature, I am still humbled by this man, and whole heartedly respect both him and his mission, with all it's gathered accomplishments.

The dude has a radical perspective and I admire it. To live like that takes a very strong will! you would have to give up all you love. Okay, I have seen animals fight over food. A badger took on a grizzly bear for honey! they do fight over food and territory. Most people are motivated by money, sex, and power. Scripture even says in Galatians 6:7: Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. It's not capitalism, it's "cartelism".

I invite you to come visit me, John. I'm serious. I find it's wiser to know somebody even a little bit before assuming things about them. I'm living at 413 Forty Niner Dr., Fruita, Colorado. 970-639-2771. Some might think it foolish that I post this info publicly & open my door to a stranger. But most anything worthwhile is worth some risk, don't you think?

It's nice that you have a fixed abode. Life without risk, calculated if possible, can be bland.
