As an amputee, I love amputee jokes. I have a few dozen shirts with different sayings on them related to it. Currently wearing one that says "I still run better than the government" One of my favorites is "What are you looking at, you two legged freak" or "When I do karate it is called partial arts" . Not finding humor in being an amputee will not replace my leg. It will just make me a miserable amputee. --- Hey ladies, you ever tried riding a stump? -- lol

I don't say this about much, but Tosh is seriously one of the most underrated comedians. I always forget about him when people mention Chappelle, Carlin, Louis C.K., etc--but Tosh is equally as funny (maybe funnier). And he definitely has the best delivery out of all of the "greats".

I think Daniel Tosh is one of the most underrated comedians of all time. His specials are fucking savage and some of the best stuff I've ever heard...but I never hear anyone mention him anywhere....(except that I've heard Joe Rogan mention several times that he does sets at The Comedy Store)... He's up there with offensive comedians like Bill Burr, Louis CK, Patrice O'Neil, George Carlin, Jimmy Carr, and Tim Dillon.... but he never gets any attention, because he doesn't do any media appearances. He's off the grid most of the time.
@pyroth3093 жыл бұрын
@derp derpin That's just nonsense. Comedians themselves will tell you they're walking on eggshells more than they ever have. Go back and listen to stuff Ralphie May was doing in the early 2000's, or Norm Macdonald or a host of others. Hell just look at TV shows. Do you really think Married with children or All in the Family would fly today?
@Onthebrink53 жыл бұрын
@@pyroth309 Its always sunny in Philadelphia and Curb are far more offensive than Married with Children or all in the family. Even Seinfeld had more offensive stuff than those shows. The reason why you brought up those specific shows is because they both happen to represent the "Nuclear Family." They couldn't even swear in the shows that you mentioned. They sure as shit couldn't joke about Christianity. South Park is still on the air. Big Mouth is on Netflix. Legends of Chamberlain heights was crazy. You should actually give examples of comedians that have said that instead of using a hasty generalization.

The more serious the situation, the funnier the comedy can be. The greatest comedy plays against the greatest tragedy. Comedy is a red rubber ball and if you throw it against a soft, funny wall, it will not come back. But if you throw it against the hard wall of ultimate reality, it will bounce back and be very lively. Very, very few people understand this. MEL BROOKS - LEGEND
