I hooked up my iPad to an older Apple Mac Book Pro. I opened iTunes and followed all the instructions. Everything seemed to work but after restoring & update I keep getting an error message and the restoring would fail. I tried this about seven times and I finally quit and decided to hook up the iPad to my newer PC desktop. I followed the same instructions and opened iTunes on the Window PC and the process worked on the first try. It restored the iPad and installed the new firmware flawlessly. Thank you.
