Also, another way to restart is to Shut Down or Restart your PC, and then long press the Alt/Option key on boot. That is gonna take you to a screen, and you can just use your mouse or keyboard to navigate to whichever OS you want to boot to, and press the Enter key.

When you skip the product key prompt you install a version of Windows that isn’t activated. It’s very limited. For example, you can’t do things as simple as changing the background. The intention is that you immediately activate the product once your able to get online and able to purchase it (using activate windows option on the start menu). It will also nag you nonstop as I recall. ACTUAL Tip: Windows isn’t free. But you can get it for significantly cheaper by grabbing an OEM key.

Hello Guys! I just want to say, to those having the same problem going back to Mac with the Error “Could not locate OS Volume” Try resetting the Mac and holding options and command. If that won’t work, (I did not work for me there.. but check this) Check your Applications on the Windows Platform. There should be a Mac Updater or something like that. Try updating it, because it should Update Bootcamp as well. Then restart the Mac normally, and try to click Bootcamp and then click Restart in Mac OS. It worked for me. I hope this helps a Great Deal!

Daniel, your video is great and helps a lot but I think you need to mention that people will eventually need to activate Windows 10 after 90 days of free trial and may have to buy the activation key for either Windows 10 Home version or Windows 10 Pro version. You missed that part and giving out the impression that Windows can be downloaded and used for free for ever using boot camp which is not true.

Can someone help me? I have a mid 2012 mac book pro with 4gb ram. When I try to install windows, it goes ok but windows system has always less specs than the apple system (like 1 gb ram instead of 4). Is there a way to install windows with the same specs of apple system? I install 3 times last year windows and I don't know if now there's a way to solve this...

Then the 2nd way is by opening system preferences go on startup disk click on the lock to allow making changes then click on bootcamp window then click on restart and it's done

at 5:04 when i press continue, it says "The disk does not have enough space to be successfully partitioned...The Boot Camp partition requires at least 42 GB." But i have 51.34 GB of storage available :/ PLEASE help

When I click to install it says "Boot Camp only supports 64-bit Windows 10 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for 64-bit Windows 10 or later installation.", I have the 64-bit selected and downloaded why does it say that?
