very important question: while this migration looks like it's doing magic, in reality it's only making a list of your apps and re-downloads them on the new iphone. you still need to go manually in each to login and reactivate bank apps etc. am i right?

Can I please ask you, my daughter is using my Apple ID and we have a new phone for her and this video is great so she can transfer everything over but as we want to create her own Apple ID for her new phone - I need to understand - do I create a new ID on her current phone before doing this transfer? will this erase everything on her current phone or still keep everything so we can then progress with this video of transferring from old to new phone? I followed the instructions and began the update, but it took three hours without any progress. So, I restarted my new phone. When it turned on, it prompted me to reconnect, which I did, but it still didn’t update to iOS 8. Instead, it went straight to transferring data from my old phone to the new one. However, the transfer process seemed to take forever, and I eventually lost patience. Now, I’ve just opened my new phone and set it up manually, including my Apple ID. But I'm having trouble retrieving all the files from my old phone. I’d like to reset my new phone again and go through the setup to transfer everything from my old device. Could you please help me with this?
