What’s that budget deck list??

Daniel must have played some Texas Holdem in Vegas if he said "check" instead of "go ahead"

at turn 2, should strip the strip. Don't let the deck pick which land to kill and 20 seconds later, you see why. W/island you can kill lotus. or at least keep him from playing it for a turn or 2.
@KSechrist5 жыл бұрын
@11:42 with factory incoming, should change his factory w/emerald block, then tap factory to make his 3/3 killing budget's 2/2. Had budget held up TIM, then no, shouldn't trade, but budget spent TIM too early. TIM should be held until EOT of DECK.
@KSechrist5 жыл бұрын
@9:04 should have attacked with factory unless you're going to remember the 3/3 kills 2/2 trick that you didn't earlier.
@KSechrist5 жыл бұрын
@11:42 should have taken a point of mana burn as it takes 1 to convert factory and he used a sol ring. I guess he could put the trigger on stack and do it again, but no explanation was given

Waiting until end of opponents turn to ping with sorcerer best routine, in case he drops a creature during his turn you'd want to target, although doesn't look like many creatures get played in vintage

93/94 looks so fun. Too bad eternal is dead where I'm at.

Need a 94 group, get my butt kicked by full powered decks. But it would be fun

Why are you still playing with mana burn rules? Do you Ante too?
@nickfanzo3 жыл бұрын
Yeah mana burn is stupid
@joel.lallier Жыл бұрын
These cards were all designed with mana burn in mind. It was the downside to having powerful mana sources and could be used against your opponent.

Boomerang's nice but it's no Capsize with buyback.
@mtgmeansmagic47586 жыл бұрын
I can see this reasoning. Except that Boomerang is a better tempo spell in the early game, and capsize is a either a win con or a win more.

The comic shop where I started playing MTG back in '94 after Revised was released mostly played multiplayer games, so I've always preferred the long, drawn-out stalemate games. Consequently, I used to play a red/blue Tradewind Rider/Capsize/Palinchron deck with a win condition you could occasionally get with Voltaic Key and Time Vault. It was infinite turns resulting in returning everything on the board owned by opponents to their hand. Lol. That's why Boomerang is no Capsize with buyback.

Mono decks are cheaper and can be quite powerful

Mana burn is lame.

It's fine with me that mana burn was eventually eliminated but these old cards were all designed with mana burn in mind. It was the downside to having powerful mana sources.
@nickfanzo Жыл бұрын
@@joel.lallier I know that, I’ve been playing since 1994. It was still a dumb rule and bad for tournaments
