I never got this far in a character before, so its a nice thing to watch. You've shown the end results of this method in characters before, but its good to see it done in real time instead of timelapse or after the fact.

I've been following these videos for weeks, now I'm going to this one, but why do my character's polygons increase when I apply the solidification modifier?? 6:13 Will you solve it in a future video?

I must’ve missed something... How does he remove the “preview” material at 3:21 but still keep its effect ? I can’t seem to be able to have both the diffuse shader working and the normal map applied at the same time (but the outlines work just fine)...

Ok, if anyone's as confused as I was, ai think I got it. He actually didn't "keep the effects" of the normal map at 3:21, but I guess he must have had his mesh set to smooth and I didn't. And so, later on (in that video, actually), we simply reapply the normal map inside of the shader. That was the solution I was looking for. That's on me, because of a false assumption, I was so confused... Anyway, everyone, have fun texturing ! Just a few more videos ! 🙂

You can change setting of all selected objects at once (instead of re-coping mods and other uses) by alt+click

The outline/(solidify modifier) adds a lot of geometry we've been trying to avoid. Is there another way to add outline?
